Favorite Premixes

I'm just getting back into the swing of things after being sick for the past 2 weeks. I definitely feel ready to start exercising again, but I still don't have enough oomph to do an entire Cathe workout. I'm looking for some shorter, fun premixes to get my body going again. I'd love to get opinions on favorite circuit or straight cardio premixes. Please help get me going again!!!

This is my second week of a circuit rotation, and I got some great ideas from a thread I started in open discussion. But, I also just discovered, that 4DS has fabulous circuit premixes! Yesterday I did the HIS/upper body one, and today I did the BC/lower body one... both were tough, but doable in about an hour (including core). I'm pretty sure there's also a LIS one, too, plus a boot camp/upper body one.

Oh gosh, I have many of Cathe's circuit workouts but I don't own 4D's (it's on my birthday list...but that's not until June:-( )

I am recovering from a little virus, and this morning my workout was BM2 step combos only -- about 37 minutes. I modified a lot, but it was super-fun!!

>Andrea, what workouts do you have now?

I have BM2, Drill Max, LIC, Step, punch, cruch&Step Blast, HSC, KPC, Kick Max, Low Max, Boot Camp, IMAX2&Cardio+Weights, Body Max...I think that's all of them.

Katie...thanks for the BM2 idea (I do like that Choreography)!

My favorit all-cardio premixes are:

Step Jump Pump: Hi/Lo & Step premix - 26 minutes of step & 20 min. floor

KPC: Intermediate drills & combos 1 & 2

4 D's: Double Cardio

Circuit workouts:
Body Max 2: I LOVE the Bootcamp premix- it's awesome

That's just off the top of my head. I know there are others.

These look great! How tough is the BM2 Bootcamp premix? I'm not usually a wimp but my respirtory system isn't quite up to snuff yet- does it go anaerobic?

The BM2 Boot Camp premix is pretty tough. It's nonstop action. It easy to modify though and easy to hit "pause" :)

Oh..this morning I tried my own premix. I did the first 31 minutes of KPC then I put in the Standing Legs & Glutes + Abs premix(minus the warmup) from B&G. 70 minutes of intense fun!

I too enjoy the BC premix from BM2 but it's kind of long if you don't have your stanima/endurance built back up from your illenss/break.

The Cardio only premix from Cardio and weights would be an easier, shorter cardio to begin with. You could use the upper body premix from C&W to work the upper body and the ME lower body premix to work the lower body. You could do the Core only premix from BC to work your core.

That would hit every body part within the week, keeping the workouts short and sweet until your stanima builds back up.

Then your could move into longer circuit premixes such as DM upper or LIC upper/cardio premix and/or DM or LIC lower/cardio premixes(forget the actual names but I believe they both have a premix that alternates just the upper and cardio and just the lower and cardio).
Angela:)
