Mine was the Evil Knievel Stunt Cycle....I had a nice makeshift ramp for him to jump all the shoes in our house and slam into the kitchen wall...hours of fun..also was the year I realized that my mom knows the same swear words as my father..and they all ended with JERRY!!

Also loved the electric football game where you would stratgically line your players up, only to watch them spin frantically in circles, and don't get me started about the little felt footballs that would leave the playing surface and fly into my glass of chocolately good Ovaltine!! Wonder how many of those Q-tip footballs I injested over the years?

Oh, mine was the year I got the Paddington bear books and a stuffed Paddington bear for Christmas from two separate family members who had not consulted each other. I must have been about 8 or 10 then because the books were from my aunt, who passed away when I was 12. That was a great Christmas.

I remember my mom buying me the Cher Doll on Christmas eve
 OH I'm showing my age. Now that doll is worth a lot of money. I wonder if I can find it on ebay

Mine was the year that my Dad brought home a huge box and we all had to guess what was inside. We had to actually write our guesses on the box. I guessed that it was a lot of presents in one box and it was!

It was actually a huge stocking full of presents for all of us. I got to pick my own presents out of the stocking before any of my brothers and sisters!

Another favorite was the year that Dad found the "Simon" game (remember that one?), when it was the one thing that nobody could find at the stores. We all had so much fun playing that game together!!

Oh, I love this thread!!

Mine was a play tree house with a family of mice. The tree opened up and was fully furnished with all the cutest amenities.
My dad teased me weeks before Christmas. He kept telling me that all Santa would leave me was a tree with some mice. I was so surprised Christmas morning. The house was really big too! I remember it like it was yesterday.:D:D:D

tap shoes

My mother bought me tap shoes. I found them two days before the holiday but I had the good sense not to say or mess with them. I just carefully closed the lid. Then on Christmas day there they were for me, with my name on them. What magical Christmas. I tapped for hours! Unfortunately, my feets are too big for those shoes anymore. I believe that I gave them away at some point. Now, that I'm 30, I'm wishing I hadn't let some things go. :( I'm not likely to be in a relationship because I really am a bit of a loner (can't tell from the number of posts I've made lol!) I really like being on my own. But, there is nobody who will remember my shoes but me.

Yup,

Sure do remember Simon...

Do you remember "Gnip Gnop"...I found it hidden under the bed in my grandmothers room, kept quiet about it, though, because it was high on my list that year!

the first thing that comes to mind was when I was pretty young maybe prek or kindergarten. I got a huge stuffed panda bear that was as big as me. I LOVED that thing. I kept it till highschool and during a move the packers stole it. They had set it aside and were commenting how one of thems daughter would love that. They also took some very expensive hiking backbacks. ok so I'm still bitter about it. lol!

I remember getting x-country skis for Xmas and that was also the 1st green Xmas that we had ever had :( All was good though as it didn't stay green for long and I got several years of use out of them.:D:D

My red-haired Cabbage Patch Doll in the purple dress. I took her to church that day and I had on new jeans and blue from my jeans rubbed off on her white shoes:( My favorite childhood toy ever was the big, pink She-Ra castle I got one year for my birthday. Sooooo cool!!
