Fat / Muscle / Abs for the pear

Hi all,

I wanted to get your opinion. I teach a cardio k/b class 3x a week and have been using the GS DVD's on my off days. I was wondering a few things:

1) I want/need to lose some fat and gain muscle...should i up my GS days (currently I do each DVD 1x per wk)?

2) When is the best day to do abs?

I am not out of shape, but I want more muscle definition and less "wiggle" than I currently have. I am pear shaped and build easily on the bottom so I've been using light weights when I do my leg workouts - is this ok?
