Simple Baguettes

Make the dough in a machine and hand form the 2 loaves.

Dough:
1 1/2 cups of water
1 Tbs Sugar
1 Tsp Salt
4 Cups of Bread Flour
2 Tsp of quick yeast

Wash with cold water

Top with sesame or your favorite seeds

After the dough cycle is completed, remove the dough and divide in two.
Roll out dough on a corn meal covered counter. Roll each half into a rectangle, stretch it so its thin. Roll the dough the wide side becomes the length of the loaf.

Place the dough on a greased pan that is covered with corn meal, baguette pan if you have one or otherwise a cookie sheet will do.

Cover with a cloth, let it rise 45 min to an hour. Just before baking, remove the cover, "wash" and cover the bread with seeds, slash the top of the loaf with a sharp knife (lengthwise or multiple diagonals).

Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes, bread will be light brown and sound hollow if tapped.
