fat burning

I am 5' 3" and weigh 142 pounds. I used to run for cardio, but have several stress fractures and bursitis. I have not been able to run since June of this year. Can you give me some guidelines for better nutrition and some tips on burning fat? I don't want to spend more than one hour/day working out. I have a family to support, as well as a full time job. Thanks for any tips you can provide.
