False Eyelashes

I've been wondering whether Allergan will be making it for hair growth on the actual head. I even emailed them asking them about it but got what was essentially a non-response. I mean, if it works this well on lashes, can you imagine what it might do for hair???????

BTW, when you start on your second bottle, you kind of go into maintenance mode & don't have to use as much. Now I use it on Sat, Sun, Tues & Thurs. One bottle lasts me at least 3 months. Not so bad for $80. ;)

You are making this sound very tempting!

After looking at the price on the website I decided against it. But now when you talk about the maintenance mode it is making me think about it again. My eyes look naked/bald (not really bald, but you know) without eyeliner and mascara ;(.
 
I with LauraMax and Juice; another Latisse lover here! I have blue eyes and have had no changes.

I use it daily but don't use as much as the instructions recommend (they say use 1 drop on each lid, I use 1 drop on the brush and swipe it over both lids). A bottle lasts me about 3 months.

I also use the generic (bimotoprost). Latisse is just a new brand name for a very old glaucoma drug. Once "they" figured out the fortuitous side effect (all these elderly men with beautiful, long, luscious lashes!!) someone got smart and re-marketed it as a lash-growing drug! It is just cheap, generic bimotoprost with a fancy new name and price. The only difference is that with bimotoprost you won't get all those tiny application brushes. (I just bought a tiny make-up brush to use instead. Just make sure you wash it daily with soap and water---you don't want to risk a dirty brush near your eyes).

Like LauraMax, I LOVE this stuff!
 
Hey, I wanted to bring this old thread up to thank everyone for convincing me to use latisse!
My eyelash extensions fell off and I was left with sad little stubs. :mad::(
After 3 months of latisse, my eyelashes have come back and are thick and black!
I loved my extensions because there was no need to apply mascara... It's the same with latisse! :D:cool: My eyelashes look great without mascara, but super dramatic with mascara. For evenings out I use Mac primer and zoom mascara....my lashes look awesome!!

Does it darken your lashes? Mine are invisible--and I'm not exaggerating. You absolutely cannot see them without mascara on them.
 
I admire all you women who take the time to pamper yourself with these types of products :) The whole concept of make-up or cosmetic products baffles me to the point of just staying away!! And the couple times that I've tried...well let's just say it was not something I wanted to try again. I just don't have the skills or patience for it. Which is a shame, because there are some things I would really like.
 
I know this thread was a little while ago, but I wanted to ask you ladies who are using Latisse on the bottom lashes too, they say on the website that you shouldn't but I just started using the product and I have to say my bottom lashes are short, you guys have not had a problem using it on the lower lashes? Because I am really thinking about using it there as well.
 
Latisse goes on your eye lashes, not in your eyes. It is applied one drop at a time onto a brush which is then brushed onto your lashes. I don't see how it would get into your eyes to "change the color".

I have been applying to the lower lashes. I do not add more drops, I brush them after I do the top lashes.

Been using latisse for 4 or so months, and a small amount does get into your eyes.

You guys are really tempting me with this. I have lost the fullness of both my lashes and brows with aging.

Regarding the color change.... am I correct in assuming that it would only change your eye color if you have light eyes? Mine are dark brown, so it sounds like that wouldn't be a concern for me.

I apologize if the info is already upthread, but do you have to get a script for Latisse?

Yes, the warning is for light colored eyes, but it's rare. They say the side effect has only been seen with lumigen a stronger version of the drug. (used for glaumcoma).
The most common side effect is skin irritation. My eyes felt dry for about a month, but that subsided.

I just started Latisse a week ago, now I am going to start applying it on the bottom lashes as well, maybe I should order it online too. I am so excited about it, I haven't had any thick lashes since I was in my twenties.
