Did anyone else know that there are two 4th's in Sept? Apparently,where Wendy is from, there is:) :7 :+ HAHAHA! Im so funny for 5:30 in the morning,aren't I?

Anyway....Good Morning everyone,
Once again I am up for a workout before I go to work.I had a little more sleep last night then I did the previous nights and I felt more tired when I woke up.Maybe I have some catching up to do.
Eating was good yesterday.I did a 2 tsp of ice cream though.I was craving and bored so I am sure it could have been alot worse.Then we went to my in-laws for dinner last night and they always have dessert.They took a chocolate cake out of the fridge and it looked so good,and they couldn't beleive their earrs when I said I wasn't having any.Then my DH told them what I was up to b/c they knew there was a reason behind the maddness.My MIL ended up chasing me around the breaskfast nuck (sp?) with a fork.It was funny but I was afraid she was gonna catch me.It did look good though and I was tempted to have one finger full of icing}(

How is everyone else doing? I am thinking of doing either C&W or the Viper.I think the viper would be harder.What I would really like to do is get on my treadmill for a run but my hand held tetris game is gone so it would just seem way to long.I am going to go for a run tonight though b/c tomorrow is weigh in day!:) According to my scale I am down 3.5 lbs but we will see on her scale.It was TTOM when I weighed last week so that is why I am down so much.
I am at work alllllllllllllllll day and I am going to be looking forward to chatting with you gals so you better be around!:)

Morning Lori and everybody,

Went to Longhorn Steakhouse last night to celebrate son's 25th birthday. Yesterday was a restricted calorie day but I planned and did very well. I was only over 42 calories for the day. I ate very well at Longhorn, good choices.

Yesterday I threw hay bales so got in a good upper body w/o. Today, not sure because starting that September rotation tomorrow. Will decide later.

I'm working today, ugh... Have a great Sunday everybody.

Wow you guys are up early.

Hi Lori! Good job not eating the cake last night! I on the other hand did not fair so well yesterday. I had a little bit of everything there was to eat at my IL's which was no big deal, but then I had a piece of my niece's BD cake.x( I got that TTOM when we got over their house, so I'm just chalking it up to that. I'm up 2 lbs. this morning but no biggie. I lost 5 last week which is just not right.

Happy Birthday to your son Jane! Way to go with your calories! It is not easy sometimes. Bet you DID get a good UB w/o yesterday! Have a good day at work.

I'm going to walk/run today for an hour and ME or MIS I think.
DH and I got into a tiff last night so I don't know what kind of day it's gonna be around here. He will probably feel sorry for himself all day because he's married to a witch. If he decides to sit in front of the TV all day I'll just go down the basement and do Freestyle. Whatever ya know?

Jane-I agree, good job with the eating.Ita all about the calories you know.I don't give much for the diets that are low carb,eat certain things certain times of the day..etc...you get my drift.As long as you keep track of your cals, everything should fall into place:)
Kali-That was sooooooooooo funny!:7 But aren't they all married to witches? Or replace the "W" with a "B". I have to say DH is pretty good.According to him, whenever he places hockey and he is in the dressing room, most of the men are complaining about there wives...but DH (so he says) picks up for me and says "we hardly ever fight" and we don't.But there are days where, if it wasn't against the law...my hands could find their way around his neck!:eek: :) Im sure he will come around once he stops feeling sorry for himself.

I did my workout.Didn't get it all in though (of course) I managed to get 3 seg of the Viper done.Then I did leaner legs abs.I have been really good with my sit ups this week.I got a little slack with that over the last year as well.
Weigh in day is tomorrow and we are going to my in-laws for dinner tonight.So I have to be good.No overeating that may reflect on the scale tomorrow.I would also like to go for a run around 9 ish.But I said that yesterday and I didn't get it done.When I weighed on my friends scale I was 133 lbs. If I am just under 130 lbs tomorrow I am going to be sooooooooooo excited! But even a 1 or 2 lbs lost is good.

I'm just joking. I didn't get to talk to you much yesterday.

Had fun at the IL's. My BIL and I kicked butt in horseshoes. It was a nice day. Nothing going on the rest of the weekend except LaundryMax and CleanMax. I've got to get this house "housecleaned" this week before I start work next Monday. I am actually pretty pumped about cleaning it, it hasn't been "really" cleaned in ages.

How is everyone else this morning? It's going to be beautiful here for the next week. Wall to wall sunshine they say. :) Sounds good to me.

Good morning girls,

Lori-congratulations on saying no to the cake, cause I needed to of been that strong last night. I ate a little debbies fudge round and I knew I shouldn't of bought them for my son. Well I'm not beating myself up for it, today is a new day! My willpower has gone to mush compared to back in June. So moving on, I did GS chest yesterday and major DOMS! I mean I feel like someone has beat my chest with a baseball bat! I have to do GS back today with cormax 1 later on today.


Kali- I cleaned up house yesterday and I was continiously washing clothes to think I was finished when dd brought out her basket! I still have two loads to do today! It never ends!!


Will talk to you girls later, have to get some bkf in myself.

Hello Ladies,

I was out playing pool until 2 am and it is 7:30 here now. Why Am I up? :) I wanted to sleep in. i also so sat The 40 year old virgin last night. That movie is very funny. I recomend it if you need to laugh. I didn't eat anything at the theater and I don't drink so all was good at the pool hall too.

Lori-I so agree about calories in vs. calories out. In the past when I have had a few pounds(well10) to lose if I cut my calories way low I lost. I also think that if I were to do that for long I would have stalled my metabolism. So if it works for you short term I say go for it! Glad things are going better for your DH and I don't blame you for keeping it ush hush until it is set in stone.

Kali-I bet those 2 pounds will be gone very quickly. Probably just an immediate result of what you ate yesterday so don't worry about it. I bet if you weighed tomorrow they would be gone. Sorry you had a tiff with hubby. Times like that make me glad to be single:)

Jane-Good job on your eating! Did your son have a nice bd?

Today I start my rotation but I think I may try to sleep some more first. Probably not though:)

Ok I am off to read some threads. Hello to all who follow. Kali, wendy left Joey with his grandma so she is probably enjoying a leisure morning. :)

Oh hi kim, we must have been posting at the same time:) As far as my biceps go I use 15 and 20 dumbells. I usually use 25-30 on barbell. I want to try today and see If I can do a 40 pound curl and how many. Just for fun. I like my bideps where they are and dont want then bigger soit truly is "see if I can"thing.

Hi terri,

I can't do that much weight doing biceps. They are my weakest muscle. I'm surprised I don't have 8in arms! ha!ha! So how can I move up in weights? Cause I can't seem to go any higher than 12pds. I maybe can try 15's in S&H. Give me some tips! And can I grow a 1/2 inch bigger in a month? Sorry so many questions, I just am determined to achieve this!

Kim,
The way I moved up in weight was to just try to do a few with the 15's then go back to the12's. Eventually you will be able to do all the reps with the heavier weights. I think S&H would be a good way to try getting up to the 15's you are wanting to get to. Yes I believe that you can gain that1/2 inch in a month if you try adding in the heavier weight whenever you can. Start off with a few reps or even one..whatever you can do to safely work up. You don't want an injury.

Well I had oatmeal for breakfast and now I'm having a light yogurt. Then I'm off for my walk. It's got to be a walk today. I refuse to try to run w/ TTOM.x(

I swear I can do laundry every day and still have a load left when I'm done! It never ends!

Kim~I'd love to be able to curl with 12 pounds more than oh, ONCE! LOL I can barely finish biceps in Cathe's w/o's with 8 pounders! Actually I can finish with 8 pounders in most...it's just in the really EVIL work out's like Muscle Endurance where I have to drop down in weight before it's over. BURN BABY BURN! }(

Charlotte~Good morning! Can't wait to hear what kind of "torture" is on your agenda for today...your body must hate you sometimes!}( LOL

Grandma will be bringing Joey down to me at some point today and the plan is for us to spend some time on the boardwalk near me since it should be really nice out. Grandma and I tried to spend time on the board walk some weeks ago with my sister's kids and it was during the awful heat and humidity and we barely lasted an hour-IT WAS DREADFUL that day!!! x(

As far as my work out goes...when I get to it, it's f/b weights, 30 mins cardio and abs-DEFINATELY abs!:) When I get to biceps today, Kim, I will have to pick up my 12's and see how pathetic I do with them! :p

Hope everyone is having a great morning. I'm off to get my 2nd cup of java but I should be back in just a few!
 
Thanks Terri- I am doing the one body part a day where the first week is GS and the second is SH. I think that will be a good start. And if my biceps are going to be sore as my chest, I am having second thoughts! he!he!

~Kim~ The funny thing is, the cake didn't bother me that much.Sometimes I think that we probably "think" we crave something.In the last 6 days, I have probably only have 4-5 real cravings and this is from someone who thought that they had to eat something sweet after every meal, even breakfast! I would even eat something sweet before breakfast.I also agree with Terri about how you can up your weights.I use 15's a fair bit and that is how I got use to using them.I would do a couple of reps with 15's, eventually you push yourself a little bit more and before you know it, you are doing all of your reps with 15's.Its funny how I can use 15's in dumbbells but I find a barbell alot harder.

~Terri~ I am trying not to cut my cals to low and once I get where I want to be, I will up them a little.But I really think that I can't eat and excessive about.If I could,I would have never gained 10 lbs in the last 3 yrs.And I am not a big eater.More of a picker and I am trying to listen to my body more then anything.If I am hungry I will eat but it is something healthy, instead of something coated in sugar.
I have one of those hand held tetris games and when I run, time flies! I play with one hand. Once you have played for a while and it gets faster...thats when I lose and I have to start all over.Im not one of those people who can watch t.v and run, t.v doesn't take my mind off of the PAIN!x( :)

With that said, I am still so amazed at how you get those workouts in.If I ever have another baby, Im gonna be asking you alot of questions.

My day is going well.I am at work and for some reason Sun aren't as dragged out as Sat.Im not sure why.
I had a nice comment then.There was a guy here in the office and he moved closer to my computer to see something (this is where I am sitting) and when he did I put my arm up to scratch my head.And he said " Holy look at the biceps...Im moving back over here" and he rolled back over to his spot.It was so funny.I think people don't notice that I work out but I guess they do.
Anyway..sorry so lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng.

Hey Lori~~~Ya know what...I have no secrets as to how I can w/o like I do...I just have a VERY VERY VERY GOOD baby! :7 I put him in his bouncy seat, swing or car seat with a toy and he'll play or sleep or "watch" tv. I have to time it right though so he's not going to get hungry too fast and I obviously can't do anything when he's having a cranky moment. Other than that...I just got VERY lucky!!! :)

Kali~~~Did you go to the ticker site yet?

Had a nice walk.It is soooo beautiful out today. We're emptying the pool so we can get it put away. Don't think there will be anymore good pool days here. :(

What are you doing today? I don't think I'm doing anything else besides my walk for today. I have some DOMS in my thighs from PH yesterday so I think maybe I'll just call it a day.

DH is being nice now. Big whoop. He should be after calling me a witch last night. I have to remember he's moody because his bike is still broken. Can't wait till he gets it fixed. Or till he goes to Germany for that matter. That's what I need a ticker for! How many days until the Germany trip! LOL!}( He would s@#t if he saw that! He already thinks DH means D*&% Head. LOL! I'm just venting to you guys. He's a good guy. I love him very much. I just don't always like him!

Hey Kali...Use the 2nd code option that the site gives you. That is the one that will show your ticker when you post. Then you have to go back and delete some useless crap but I can help you with that once you get the ticker up. DH's are such a freakin' pain sometimes, aren't they? And yet we still put up w/them! WHY?? LOL :p

I don't know which weight w/o I will do...I am thinkin' ME but I haven't done PH or MIS in a while so maybe one those...who knows! LOL My cardio will probably be something from ctx b/c they are the perfect length...maybe AllStep again since I have finally figured it out! :7 Then I gotta try to do a seg of Coremax instead of a shorter ab w/o since I missed it yesterday. :eek:

DH complimented me the other day. Said he has noticed a difference in me in the past few weeks...says I am looking better every day now! :+ :7 :+

I am waiting for grandma to come with Joey and then it's off to the boardwalk for a bit...gotta resist the urge to eat the HORRID but delish b/w food while we are there!!! }( :9

Today is my rest day, and let me tell you I need it!!!!! My thumb hurts like heck from pressing weight down on it accidentally. I have had a migraine most of the day for some reason. I got attacked by ants yesterday and kept waking up in the night to scratch my leg.
Oh, I am so whiny today! I have also been very restless and can't sit still. I think I get bored on my rest days.
Well I am doing ME on Tuesday.

I am glad to hear your DH gave you a great compliment. Always makes you feel great, huh?

So how did you do with your eating. My DD had me buy her a Turtle Pie for her birthday. Has 22 grams of fat to eat one slice. Holy Cow!!!!
