Good Morning Ladies!:)

No, I'm not crazy...I just can't sleep! x(

Since it is after midnight and I am bored stiff and awake I figured I might as well start saturday's check-in as it IS technically saturday here on the east coast right now! ;)

Anywhoooo....Let's see...today is my rest day but I will be doing a CoreMax segment and hopefully a StretchMax segment as well.

I have no real plans for today yet but I will probably go visit my mom as DH has already told me he will be helping the same friends move again today.

I can't stop watching the news reports on Katrina. I wish I could because every time I watch them I get mad and upset and angry and mad and sad and mad and...well, you get the point I'm sure! x(

Why the heck am I awake??? GRRRR! I hope I get tired soon or I'm gonna be unhappy tomorrow! ;( I'll be napping instead of doing CoreMax! :eek:

Okay, well I'm done rambling here for now...I must go see what other threads I can ramble on! :p
 
Well that makes two of us who can't sleep. I plan to do a hiit run tomorrow. I wound up doing bodymax today and then did core. Since I can't sleep I did some bicep worj from gymstyles. I think I will also do plb tomorrow and more core work. Sunday I start a hard rotation Charlotte sent me that should be vey intense.

Kali-do you want me to send it to you? It is hard like the cathe rotation for august and I loved doing that one. Let me know.

Wendy-I hope you can get some sleep soon. Lucky for me I don't have a little one to get up for.

I hate to tell you, but you are crazy...b/c it is only the 3rd and not the 4th! Oh dear...shes los'in it!:)

I went for another walk last night after work.DH went to a restaurant and picked up a salad for my friend and I and when he got home it was a ceaser salad.I was so rotted but starving at the same time.I tried not to eat to much lettuce (with the dressing) but i did eat the chicken.There is no doubt that I probably stink of garlic right now.
I set my alarm for 5:30 and when it went off I crawled back in to bed.Then I lay there for a while so I figured, its just as well to get up so here I am.
I am not sure what workout I am going to do.I usually have my mind made up before I go to bed and I am hoping I am not going to waste time thinking about this.There is no extra time in the a.m.
I had no problem sleeping.And I hope you gals got to sleep after...and i am sure you did,

Well I seem to be so restless when I get in the bed. Tossing and turning forever and then I am completely out as if someone hit me over the head! LOL!

I am happy today. My bodyfat is the lowest it has been in awhile at 14.2%. Damn, if it would only get to 13%. Must have been the 6 cookies that I ate. LOL! They were the kind made with splenda, but I still have to watch not to eat too many.

Anyone see my chicken pictures yet? I know Terri has. :D

Well today I got some stuff in the yard I want to do: pruning, straigten out my garden which is a complete wreck, weed other beds, fix roof (there's a leak up there) and wash cars.

My workouts today will be: PUB, SS (upper body only) and all of Core Max (1, 2 and 3). I think I will do core maxes this morning after breakfast and heavy weight lifting later in the day.

I am going for a walk/run and doing PH. Got to get pumped for horseshoes later.
I did much better w/ my calories yesterday and I am going to eat right now before it ends up being noon again!

I have made up my mind and I am doing the Sept.rotation. Sorry Charlotte. My butt and gutt are my biggest problem areas. I can't pass this up. Please don't kick my ass! :p Seriously I am going to start running tho.

You do what is best for you. I am glad you will be running too. You will see results faster then. Glad to hear you are keeping better track of your calories too, but you have to keep doing this EVERYDAY or you will gain body fat!!!!

Well I hope you have a fun day throwing horseshoes around. I am getting ready to do core max now.

Kali, I finally fell asleep about 2am I guess and still up at 8...my usual. I could have slept later but I like my "quiet time" before I wake Joey up so I got myself up this morning despite the sleepiness.

Terri, What time did you get to bed? Earlier than me, I HOPE!:eek:

Lori, I realized what I did w/the check-in date too late...and just so you know...I lost it a LOOONG time ago! :p :+ :p

Anywho...it's a new day and I'm sure tonight I will get some rest and all will be normal again. Today is my rest day but I gotta do a Coremax seg. at some point.

I am drinking my java right now...YUMMY!:9

Today I don't have to worry about my food intake as I am on a deficit day again and I have them down pat! ;)

Kali and Charlotte-How do you ladies like my new weight loss ticker? Isn't it the coolest!? :+ Kali-you should go get yourself one (MOTIVATION!:)) and Charlotte, it's too bad they don't have one for fat percentage!

I like your weight ticker thingy. I wish they had one for fat percentage or weight gaining. I can't wait to see that thing start moving for ya. That really is motivating to have, don't you think?

Ya know Charlotte I'll bet you can make it into a weight gain ticker if you want. You have to enter the #s in. It asks for starting weight, current weight, goal weight and asks if you want your actual weight shown or just weight change but it doesn't say the #s HAVE to go DOWN. It's called a weight LOSS ticker but I think it would work anyway! Why don't ya try it?

YES-MOTIVATIONAL! That is why I put it up there! :)
 
Hello ladies,

I have decided to stop feeling sorry for myself and started over as for today. I went to the grocery store and got all healthy fruit and veggies and feel ready to start. I even passed the ice cream isle without a look! Sad isn't it?

I even started my routine today and did GS chest only,with BC core. It has been awhile since I got my but up to exercise. Well now I am here to join and sweat with you ladies! Also I am doing the rotation of Imafitnessfreak. I think that is her. Boy is she buffed!

Okay ladies I am off to eat some breakfast and clean house. I wonder how many calories that burns?

I slept well last night for the first time all week. I guess getting up as early as I do all week will catch up with you after a while. I was dropping everything yesterday and am surprised I was able to sit through the football game last night without falling off the bleachers - LOL!! There's a band party at someone's house after every game and it's very safe with parents there and no alcohol, but it also means we're up till after midnight on Fridays during football season. I'm too old for this ... LOL!!

Nik is in marching band for the first time this year and is absolutely loving it!! Last week was the first game and we worked the concession stand, but this week we sat in the stands and watched the game and the band. They're both fun in their own perverse ways - LOL!! We won, but not because we're that good - the visiting team was just really, really bad ... poor things! 35 to zip!! It was fun to watch the band because I've been hearing about these routines since they started rehearsal two months ago. It's the largest freshman class they've ever had so most of them are new.

I'll be doing Kari Anderson Angles Lines & Curves II in a while, then this evening I'll be doing Core Secrets Off The Ball. My stats are 8 pounds and 9 inches lost in 10 weeks. I'm happy!!

Wendy, very cool weight loss ticker, I might do it myself. I've got 6 lbs. that I just can't seem to lose for the last 6 months.
Good news is that I didn't put any weight on while babysitting at my sister's house, well actually it's quite a surprise! Maybe running on the treadmill daily helped (I'm not a runner). I'm thinking I might try running at the school track tonight.
This morning will be PH, haven't done any serious weights in a week.

Ladies I forgot to start my measurements over again since I laid off since last measurement. I sure they went up on the ones I wanted to go down. Here it is and hopefully I can make some improvements.

Look at all of you checking in! That is so great! We have got to stick together. Cold weather is coming and we don't want the fact that we can hide under a winter coat to make us lazy!!!! Because that is known to happen. Seriously. Then before you know it, it's spring, and you can't hide under your winter coat anymore!!

Well I did it! I walked for 5 minutes, ran for 5 minutes for an hour! It felt pretty good. My chest didn't hurt like it used to when I ran. Could it have been the horrible drugs I was putting in my system? Hmmmmm........ I will do it again tomorrow but increase to 5 walking, 7 running and see how that goes.

Wendy where do you get those tickers from?

I had a turkey breast wrap and now I'm going to have some yogurt.
And of course continue with my coffee. Love it too Wendy! DH is making fried ravioli for the party today! x( Dammit the hell. I'm gonna make some WW angel hair for myself and take that w/ me. My problem isn't eating bad, it's not eating enough! I'm really not looking forward to tomorrow morning. :(

I'm off to do PH too Sherry! Love that workout.

I amazed as well with all the checkins.Sat is usually a very slow day on the forums but us girlies are very dedicated!

Charolette- You are so tiny! You must get comments all the time about not eating enough.The girl I run with isn't as tall as you are but is just as small and even I thought that she had an eating disorder until I started hanging out with her.Now I know that she can eat more then I do.Its funny how people can think that an overweight person (sometimes) is overweight b/c of their gentics.I have often heard people say, "yeah,but their whole family is like that" But you never here anyone say that a person is slim b/c of gentics.Its usually "oh,I she doesn't eat very much".And we are all capable of saying stuff and one time or another.
Kali-Im glad you added me to your message manager.I e-mailed you back, not sure if you received it b/c of your super busy day.Good luck with the horseshoes.I haven't thought about cutting my hair lately.I would like to change the color though.Its gotten lighter this summer
Wendy-Did you find the watch after? I get so mad at DH sometimes when he ditches me.Not ditching...but when a friend calls, everything gets put on hold.He is not as bad as he use to be but with his last job he was so busy and I swear I could have been moved out for a week before he would have noticed that I was gone.

How is everyone else? Im gonna have to start remembering all the names:)
I did BC today.I wasn't sure how my stamina was gonna be with alot of cardio so I thought that I could do another workout tonight.I can't beleive how short I found that workout.Usually when I do that workout I mix in running with it and thats why I found it alot shorter.Either way it is an awesome workout.Like I said yesterday,i love circuit workouts.I think I could do just circuit all the time.

Yes, I hear it all the time. It goes out one ear and out the other when people ask if I eat. Boy, is that a joke. All I do is eat, that is what is keeping me lean. I think alot of overweight people don't eat or they eat the wrong foods and at the wrong times. For instance, my mom is shorter than me. She is 5'. She weighs 120 pounds and her body fat is 47.1%. Not to put mom down. I love her so, but I worry about her eating habits. She skips breakfast and lunch and may not eat dinner until 9pm or later. She is 65 and looks like 80. Once someone ask my dad how his "mom" was doing. She doesn't have the strength to pick up a gallon of milk. My dad has to get the milk out of the frig for her. I think it is so important to eat the right foods and at least every 2-3 hours.
Well I may look tiny, but don't you let my looks fool you. ;-)

BTW, it is really nice to have more of you all checking in. Nice to hear how everyone is doing today.

Where are ya? You better be WORKING girl! I just finished all of core max 1, 2 and 3! I hate the cork screws...they are hellish! Superman's three times...oh, my! I get wedgies when I do Core Max 3. LOL!

Now off to yard work and back inside later for upper body!

I think overweight people usually eat the wrong things.I know one of my co-workers...Ive only ever seen her eat once and she is overweight.Apparently she eats alot in the night time.When I would call her at home when I first started here, she would always be in the middle of cooking dinner and it was around 8 at night.Then I had another friend who hardly ever eats! Maybe she is like my co-worker and doesn't like to eat in front of people.
I know your tall so I didn't mean you were tiny in that way.I should have said slim or slender!:) To me, the word tiny should go with a short person...like me!:7
