Fabulous glove alternative

I just wanted to share my experience. Unfortunately, I have been fighting a losing battle with tendonitis (tennis elbow). It got to the point where I could not lift even the lightest of weights, without suffering a flare up. Through research, I found a company that makes a glove alternative called, NewGrips. I have had great results from using NewGrips. I can lift weights again, without pain.
The NewGrips are so comfortable and take a lot of pressure off your hands and wrists. Here is the site address, where you can learn more about them, if you are interested.

Thanks for sharing this glove alternative.

Did you have pain in your hands, too? I notice that lately my hands feel sore after lifting free-weights. Just wondering if these gloves might help that. The website says they will, but of course first-hand testimonal is always better. :)

Hi Anna. Yes, I did have discomfort in my hands, especially as I increased my weight load. NewGrips allows you to use a lighter grip, with a lot less pressure on your hands. At first, after I started using the NewGrips, I had to remind myself to loosen my grip on the weights/barbell, but not anymore. If you decide to give them a try, I think you will find them to be extremely comfortable.
Take care :)

Thanks so much for sharing this information. I've had a terrible problem with my left elbow for a long time now. It's relatively quiet right now, but even so I can feel a slight twinge when I type. I will definitely check these out.

Thanks again,
Ruth:) :)

I ordered these and was really dissapointed. I couldn't believe how much they were considering what they are made of. Plus, they did not fit my hands too well. I did not like them at all and sent them back for a full refund. Maybe I am just too attached to traditional gloves.....:)

For me, pain was the motivator. My tennis elbow was relentless and made it impossible to lift weights. The NewGrips gave me the relief to weight train again. As far as cost is concerned; I didn't think $20.00 was too much to spend when I had hundreds of dollars worth of Cathe's DVD's that I couldn't use because of the tendonitis. I'm glad you shared your experience, Janice. Just goes to show that what works for one person, my not be the answer for another.
