fabulous fems of fitness - little help?

Cathlete
Hey folks,

I wanted to create my own workout premixes, so I asked the good people at Cathe.com what features on a DVD player would allow me to do this, and they said I just needed a "programmable DVD player." Well, this is not a feature that seems to be highly valued outside of the fitness community, and I can't find a single one. So I am turning to you, fabulous fems of fitness, to tell me if you know of, or own, a DVD player that is programmable and allows me to create my own premixes of workout segments (either using one DVD or many discs).

Thank you!

Not sure how much help this is...

Hi,

I have used dvd ripper software at work. There is one brand I liked: iSofter - iSofter.com. However, I have limited experience in this area. I used it to convert one video file type to another in order to post it on the company website. I actually sourced some of this work to another vendor. I took care of the conversion. It was very easy - you put in your dvd, open the software, select what file type you want it converted to, run the software, wait, done. I didn't use it any further than that, but I can imagine if I took more time to learn it, I could have done spome really neat things with it.

I would try searching this forum because I do remember people discussing this before.

Perhaps you can also search the web to find software that can help you on your computer?

Sorry I cannot go into more detail than that! I hope that gives you a starting point.

Hopefully, A-Jock will chime in here since she likes to create her own mish-moshes. I have used software to convert dvd's to my iTouch. I have done this with the STS Ab workout. It does it by chapter so I wonder if you can do this, save it to your hard drive and then pull all the saved onto a dvd? I think I used Hand Brake for that but of course it is on my home computer and I am at work! Helpful, huh?!
