Fabulous 40s in February

I did KCM weights. Back left shoulder feeling weird during rows, in fact I swear I felt an electric like sensation. Maybe the nerve is growing back, will have to google.

Ronne, it is similar to the others I've had. The scary thing with the squamous (vs the basal I've had) is that squamous can metasticize to other parts of the body. I even know someone who's brother died of it. So good to catch early.

Mary, it's partly genetic makeup and sun, talked to my brother last night (last time I talked to him was more than a decade ago, he is trying to get closer to family), anyway he has same issues as I do, but sounds like he's had it worse (I've had 6 so far, he says he's had at least 10 and probably more and he's only 2 yrs older than me), and he's had melanoma. It sucks but we all have to deal with the cards we've been dealt.

I got all my access at work and looked at the work requests, uh, yea, it will be awhile before anything comes my way, amazing!
 
Hello! Today did TTM, no core. Lisa, at least there is progress at work! You are moving forward! So glad about your brother, reconnecting. And your doctor getting you in quickly! Good Afternoon,

I was able to make it to work today DH shoveled yesterday. I did KCM Split Sessions Upper Body and couldn't make it through the whole thing made it up to the final shoulder press section but developed the shakes and couldn't catch my breath so I quit, sometimes my migraine med causes that if I take it at night. It's extremely cold here today glad I am indoors.

Lisa-the my brother and sister would learn to get along. I like KCM weights suppose to do the second one Saturday. Glad they caught stuff early.

Mary-GS here too.

Ronne-after weather and aunt flo causes the headaches.
 
Hi all, no w/o just check to say Yea! to Murphy followed immediately by : ( to Lisa but I'm also glad its being taken care of. Ronne that sounds pretty floody. I googled it, too, wow. The coastal storm pics are crazy. Can you get around by car or are you socked in? Roxie, That sounds like a bunch of darn snow and cold. Mary, I'm working about 20 to 32 hours a week in addition to school and clinical. I need to study for PALS. I don't want to be a doofus. I have car now- a new corolla. Glad to be able to drive w/ confidence. I figure I will have it for a long time or at least one of my girls will.

Jody - glad you got your car sorted out. You sound very busy - I think you're doing my working hours as well! :D We're not actually flooded here, just the fields. Just means I get the bus into town instead of walking which I prefer.

Roxie - glad you got out of the house!

Mary - did you get to work or are you still off?

Lisa - oh, I didn't realise. Even more important to get it sorted.

Probably no workout for me today. Light work day again, so I'm making the most of it and going into town early. Doing a bit of shopping then meeting DD for another orthodontist appointment.
DH's son coming to stay this weekend. We're all going out for curry tomorrow night.
Baking a cake when we get back after ortho: white chocolate and raspberry!
 
Happy friday! I did LLA, all except the abs, did the abs from one of the KCMs.

Jody, that sure sounds like a full schedule, no wonder you don't have time for many w/os!

Roxie, I bet you get more icy roads than we do here. Went out today to a couple of pet stores (had to get the dogs out and about). It was even too cold for them!

I didn't get a workout in this morning I didn't sleep well and I knew I had to be at work early. I have and ear infection in my left ear it hurts really bad but I am not going to the doctor because I now have a copay and it makes me mad. I had to slow down coming home tonite there were horses on the highway I hope they find the owner.

Mary-I think it might have been horrible sleep the night before and the migraine med hangover.

Jody-you sound really busy and I would love to be in Florida we spent 3 days at Boca and it was wonderful.

Lisa-ice is a big problem here.

Ronne-cake sounds yummy.
 
I have to go to dealer to cancel 1100 dollars of upselling that occurred at closing of car deal. Vehicle Maint. agreement, etc. Roxie, what brought you to Boca? Pay the co pay and see the doc if you need to, unless the insurance is free, you are already paying for something you aren't using. Mary, that sounds like a great Fri eve. My dogs would have been the same way. Ronne, you are 40's flood-ier in Feb. Lisa, are you keeping both of the Shibas or just the baby? They are cute-esp Suki.

I did KCM 30 Minutes to Wts #2 Bis, Tris, and Shoulders then Ck25 WK2 D3. I had to go into town to the bank and then to Walmart.

Jody-I don't think I am going to have any choice but to go to the doctor ear is really hurting today.

Hi Murphy & Ronne! Ok, I'm sorry, but I have to brag a little. (I'm not really that mom), but here I go! DS went to guidance office to find out his class rank and he is number 8!!!! Out of 350. Hi all, busy weekend here. Dog sat DS puppy yesterday, today we rearranged our furniture to plan for new furniture for our great room. I found a set to buy (getting it Tuesday--sale was just too good), and found a place in the garage to store the furniture to give to DS when he graduates and moves to KS.

Mary, the nice thing about the type of dog we have is they don't bark except when someone is at the door. They could care a less about barking at other dogs. They do pull on the leash though, esp when at petco (they get very distracted). Congrats to DS! That is awesome! I see an academic scholarship in the works! Oh, and you CAN be THAT mom :)

Jody, Only Suki is ours, the other is our oldest DS and DIL. They wouldn't hear of us taking her so she moves with them :) Hope you got your credit, what a pain with the upsales, hate buying a new car!

Roxie, Yes go to the doc. I know how painful it can be paying those co-pays! Mine all last year was $40 for each chiro visit or PT visit, and of course DR visit. They added up to more than probably what I had to pay out of pocket for the surgery!

For w/os, I did PRS1 yesterday, started with 1 riser, by 1/2way thru I had to go to no risers because of all the turning. Today I did FT. Tomorrow I go to derm so probably won't w/o or checkin here.

Mary - you blow that trumpet all you like. Well done to your DS, that is fantastic. I was chatting to DD on Friday and she said she's a nerd (that's what people at school say). She wasn't upset about it or anything, but I asked her if it bothered her. She shrugged and said she'd rather be bright than dumb! :D Which I thought was a great answer.

Roxie - are you going to the doctor? Sounds like you need to.

Jody - what a pain. I hate those kind of things.

Workouts wise - I did CSS on Sat which I found really tough. Sat morning workouts are always the most knackering for me. Yoga yesterday, and UB premix from MM today.
Cake was delicious!
Ortho visit on Friday was a success, DD's having her top brace put in on Weds.
Had a nice time with DH's son. Went out for a nice meal on Sat evening.

Hi ladies, no w/o probably again today. I have to wait 24 hrs to take the bandage off. the Mohs surgery went well, they got clear margins first time. So day was going well, until I got to my car, the battery was dead! There I am with a fat lip and big bandage and a dead car. DH drove to jump me, while I waited and when I knew he was minutes away, the car beside me had pulled out, so I thought, cool, a spot for DH to park for the jumper cables to reach, well, a lady in a SUV circled around like she was going to park there, so I got out and stood in the spot, I told her how my car was dead and my DH was minutes away from getting here to jump me. She gave me this death look, huffed and started driving away, I said Sorry, she then yelled back at me that what I was doing was illegal. WHAT? Seriously, it's obvious I was at a dr with my huge bandage (and I mean a huge gauze wad) on my lip and you have to be rude? My lip started hurting and all I wanted was to be home! Why I let rude people ruin the whole rest of my day I wish I knew. Anyway, DR called last night to see how i was doing (love that dr). Also today I'm waiting for the new furniture, dogs are funny, they don't like being in the great room with no furniture so they lay in the bedroom. Also when I got home the dogs smelled something "different" with my lip, and sensed how upset I was at that lady, so I got me lots of doggie love. I sure hope karma gets that lady.

My day was messed up yesterday had to work later then expected so I didn't get a workout in. Today I did KCM Kickboxing 1 and CK25 Wk1 D1. My ear feels alot better so no doctor.

Lisa - good news on the surgery. Any particular aftercare you have to do?

No workout again! Took DD to orthodontist to have top brace fitted. She looks so funny - she's had blue brackets. All went well.
Had to get on with work when I got back hence (why :p) lack of workout.
Had a delicious lunch, picked up some salmon sushi, maki and a pot of edamame, seeds and hummus.
 
Good Morning,

Well yet again my schedule has been messed with, it's suppose to be my day off but boss man has been in the hospital since Monday and I didn't think he would get out today so I agreed to work today and I knew I wouldn't be able to workout this morning because DH has the day off so I was going to do it when I got home at 4 but they are moving boss man to another hospital farther away so they asked me to work the next 3 days until close which means I won't get home until 6 so I will have to see how I feel.
