Just wondering who gets extra spurts of workouts in throughout the day? Like contracting your abs through stop lights, get 50 crunches done during your morning break, etc.? I thought it would be fun to see what everybody does and get some new ideas, too.
On my lunch break, I'll go find a long flight of stairs, say six stories or so, and climb them two at at time. It's not quite as good as walking lunges, but not nearly as strange looking, out in public.
I have to walk up three flights of stairs to get to my office, so I find excuses to go down to the ground floor (pick up mail, drop off mail, etc.) to get extra stairs in.
I do walking lunges around the kitchen while my lunch warms up.
When I take DD to the park, I do fun stuff on the climber, like abs hanging upside from the monkey bars
I try to keep my gut sucked in (a la Lunacat) whenever I can
I try to squeeze my butt when I walk and hoping no one notices me doing so and when I am sitting in church, etc. Sometimes I will just sit there for the longest time and contract my glutes, and then I sigh quietly when I can't hold it anymore. LOL!
