Experiences with Acupuncture?

Sparrow -- have you checked with your doctor? My DH refers some of his patients to an acupuncturist -- I think one of the hospitals where he is on staff actually employs one. Anyway, I'd start there.
 
I had great results with acupuncture for my back. I got his name from someone who had a similar problem and also had great results with this Dr.
 
Sparrow, this is a long time ago now but I had acupuncture to start my labor with my DS - I was late and facing giving up my lovely home-birth.

I had a terrific experience. I found this practitioner through a friend but I would start with recommendations from friends, also your doc could be a good resource, or if you see a chiropractor or massage therapist, they might be able to help.

Some insurances will cover acupuncture so you could also start with your insurance company.
