Experienced - Where to Start

I have been working out with The FIRM for about a year and a half and want to start mixing it up. I have Cathe's Basic Step which I like, but I hardly work up a sweat while completing this workout. I would like some advice from someone who is familiar with The FIRM and could give me ideas of which of Cathe's videos would be comparable or slightly harder. I don't want to order something that's too basic, but I also don't want to order something too hard.

I am not looking to loose weight, but just trying to keep firming everything up and build a little more muscle. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Many of the posters here have started out with the FIRM so they will probably have great advice, but I'll chime in here. I did the FIRM for a long time, but wanted more intensity, too. I first bought Cathe's Timesaver because I liked the idea of having 45 minute, intense workouts. I did not particularly like it, so I wouldn't recommend buying that one. Since I didn't have any equipment except a few weights, and the FIRM Fanny Lifter, I bought her BootCamp/Muscle Endurance combination DVD. That is the one you HAVE to get!!! It uses various weights and a barbell (I used hand weights for a while to substitute before I got my barbell) and I used my Fanny Lifter for the high step. It really mixes it up, it's intense, and works all of your muscle groups and cardio, too. Then I got KickMax, again because it doesn't use any equipment, and the blast section really gets your heartrate up. (I always use the BootCamp premix on that one.) Finally, I broke down and bought a Club Step and now I'm buying the rest of the DVD's like crazy. Incidentally, I bought IMAX 2/Cardio and Weights, High Step Training Advanced, IMAX/Maximum Intensity Cardio/ Rhythmic Step after that. If you have a step, you HAVE to get IMAX 2/Cardio and Weights. It's the best one I own!

Hi, I went from the Firm to Cathe awhile ago and the first dvd I did was step blast/step,jump,pump. Those are two really great workouts. One is all step-great music and the other is circuit. Have fun.

My 1st were the gym styles then i was hooked.
They are tough , but you can do any size weights you need to when yo 1st start them.
I did the firm for years.
You will have no trouble getting into these and the gains are tremendous.
