Exercise after D&C

I recently suffered through a missed miscarriage and had to have a D&C exactly one week ago today (I should have been 11 weeks along). So far I've been good about taking it easy, but I'm so ready to start working out again and get some endorphins going. If you have been through this what were your doctor's recommendations on starting back exercising? What would the harm/risk be if I started back too soon?

I'm soooo sorry for your loss. I'm worried about my (7 weeks along) pregnancy now, too, and I have 2 previous miscarriages, so I understand how you feel. If I were you, I would start back as soon as you feel ready! I never felt that physically incapacitated after my D&C (emotionally is another thing). If you think the endorphins will help you - I would go for it. My doctor never had any specific recommendations, just to take it easy the first few days afterwards. HTHS.

I am so sorry for your loss! I was able to workout (high-impact) about 4-5 days after my m/c, d&c...I did not have much bleeding and I just listened to my body. Give yourself as much time as you need. I found that I healed physically pretty fast, but emotionally it was very hard and sometimes still is...
