Good luck this Friday. You will recover more quickly from your C-section since you are an exerciser. However, no matter how fit you are you are still about to undergo abdominal surgery that will require time to heal. I would ask your physician regarding the time frame that he/she would recommend before returning to your exercise program.
Gentle exercises such as "belly breathing" for abs and kegels for your pelvic floor should be started as soon as possible. These two exercises will actually promote healing by increasing circulation to those areas.
