HI everyone. I bought Kathy Smith's Lift Weights to Lose Weights 2 (note, this is NOT the first in the series, but the second, released last year) about 8 months ago, and finally got around to trying the bonus stability ball section on Sunday. My abs and back are still sore from this intense workout. The moves are harder than anything I've seen yet from Cathe! Kathy even does her pikes one legged. The stability ball workout itself is not nearly as well produced/put together as a Cathe workout--not cued incredibly well, and it moves along almost too quickly--but with repeated use I think these will be much less of a problem.
I would highly recommend this DVD for this section alone. I got it for $9 at Best Buy.
Something I learned from this DVD is that if you want to make the PLB ball work even harder, just raise your arms up off the floor and try pulling that ball in for the hamstring and inner thigh work! Also, try pulling it in with one leg only... Yikes!
Have fun
