Ever have one of those days?

I did KPC this morning and it just kicked my butt!!!! I haven't had trouble making it through this one before, and I was really wiped. I couldn't even complete it. I had taken yesterday off and did MIS on Thursday, so I don't think I was overdoing it on the cardio.

Is it time to take a few days off?

This happens to me once in a while too! Some workouts are tougher at certain times!

I know for me it's the factors gone on in my life at the time(sleep, allergies, food choices etc) Also, this happens when I start a new program, the effectiveness kicks in 2 weeks or so later-your body is telling you something!

If you think you are overdoing it than take a day off and see how you feel and pick up where you left off on your program! If you feel the same way after your program that week, than you will to have evaluate your workout plan and vary your intensity of workouts differently or make substititions to balance it out better!

Keep a food/exercise journal as well so you can see if you are fueling yourself properly and staying hydrated!

You might not have overdone anything but just need some time to recooperate. I find that on some days, my workouts just kills me, for not particular reason. On those days, I either end early or I take it down a level. And if I realize beforehand that it is going to be "one of those days," I go ahead and either do a workout that I love to motivate me amore than usual or I take the day off.

We all work out very hard here and some days you are just stronger and able to do more. Cathe even says that a few times on her videos (although it seems to me that she always says how strong she is feeling rather than how weak ;) )

Give yourself a rest - you deserve it!

I was OK the next day doing SJP. So it must have just truly have been "one of those days". Maybe it was the yucky weather.

Diet affects me most. I do low carb & I notice when I eat carbs I feel like Wonder Woman. I binged over the w/e & had two of the most incredible workouts of my life. I was throwing 5-10 extra lbs on almost every exercise. I kept checking for my gold bracelets in case the local cops needed a hand. :p

On the other hand, when I do low carb I definitely feel weaker.
