If I actually encounter an escalator, I climb. There aren't too many of them in my daily paths, though. I avoid elevators like the plague. They are so bloody slooooowww. It's stairs for me all the way. On my lunch break, I go looking for the longest stairwell and just climb, just to work out the kinks of sitting at a desk all day.
