Hi Cathe!!

I thought you might know the answer to this seeing as you work and a gym and have been thru PT! If anyone else knows, I'd appreciate the help, too. I was at PT today and the therapist had me using a "thing" for sqauts. squat, close legs, step, squat again. It's 2 velcro ankle straps and a "O" made from rubber tubing connecting them. When you step out to the side the tubing provides resistance. The therapist didnt know where I could get one personally and they call it a resistance band ring. Searches on the internet didnt help. I WANT ONE!! Works very well and I can really feel it. Do you know where I can get one or maybe another name for it so I can search for one? Thanks.

Try the following websites:

Perform Better (www.performbetter or perform-better.com {I forget which doesn't have the hyphen});

Power Systems (www.powersystems or www.power-systems.com {see above re hyphen})

Also try Fitness Wholesale (fwonline.com)

My guess is different retailers call it different things. I don't know if any of these companies sell a similar thing but it's a place to start.

I'm a little surprised that your therapist didn't know where to get them, and didn't seem to know whom to ask.
