WOW!!!! Since my knee's been bothering me, I've tried to lay off so much high impact and thought I'd try one of these. What a workout! I did about 55 minutes of level 12, hill intervals. Today my hip flexors were killing me and even my abs were, too! Last night I felt almost nauseated (fine, I didn't eat anything previous to this :eek: ), but really can't believe what an intense workout this is!
 
oh yeah! it can be a hard w/o for sure. you did it for 55 min - go you!!! Awesome w/o :)

Well, yes, but let's chalk that up to ignorance!! I guess 30 minutes is a more realistic goal, no?:p
 
Level 12 is unbelievably intense!!! I do 50 mins. 3x a week at Level 3-4 (18 minutes @ 4) on Track 3 (can't think of the name) and I don't hold on at all. I am hoping to reach Level 5 by late January. The elliptical that I use is a precor. www.precor.com

The one I use (at the Y) is a Lifecycle. it seems to have all the bells and whistles. As I said I only recently started using these, so I'm thinking I overdid it;( . How do you know what level you should be at?
