Hi - Just an update to all of you who were so wonderful to me when I first broke my left elbow ice skating. I saw my orthopedist on Friday (my mid-point through recovery appt) and he was impressed with my range of motion. By doing the exercises he showed me, plus using my arm as the pain would allow, I've gotten almost my entire range of motion back. He was flabbergasted. I told him I could do the macarena arms area! No weight lifting for three more weeks, but I'm half way through. In addition, I can do Cathe's step tapes---none of the arm movements bother me. I've been working my right arm/shoulder, and doing lunges, etc., using just body weight. Best of all, I've been able to DRIVE MY CAR again. No more ten-hour workdays, waiting for my DH to pick me up. Thanks again to all of you who were so encouraging/supportive. 7 March is when I have my final appt & xray, and I'm hoping he gives me the green light to start working that side of my body again!!!
