Eddie Izzard fans?

Okay, I'm a lurker, but I saw mention of my favorite comedian in another post and now I have to know--how many of my fellow Cahte-ites are fans of Eddie Izzard?

I haven't completed my Cathe collection yet, but I own everything available in U.S. format by Eddie!

In my defense, I have to tell you that the number of Eddie DVDs available is much smaller than Cathe's.

Oh my! I 'discovered' him while channel surfing last year, and ended up almost wetting my pants I was lauging so hard!!!! I can't believe how naturally funny he is! (Well, as natural as a man can be in high heels, lipstick and a silk dress....)

I don't have any videos/DVD's. Where do you get them? I would love to have the show that I saw - I only got to see the last hour or so and STILL get a chuckle just thinking about it!

He was also in some movie but I can't think what it was. I'ts been nagging me all day.

that's for sure! i know the movie you are talking about but i can't think of it either! it was hard to recognize him with no makeup on!

so mrsmel....since you have then all, which one is your favorite? for anyone interested, almost all of them are on netflix.

Velvet Goldmine! But as good as the movie is, it does not do him justice. He is a riot!

Dress to Kill is definitely my favorite. That's his best work. I even went to see him live in his Sexie tour. He was good, but he got annoyed with an audience member who wouldn't stop taking his picture, even after he asked them to stop. So, he cut his encore short. It was still great, though.

I discovered him on HBO a few years ago when I was channel surfing late one night and I thought, "What the heck?" But once I started listening to him I ended up watching the whole thing!

Executive transvestite indeed!
