I am soooo rotted with ebay. Anyone experience this before? I won some outfits for DS about a month ago. A week after winning the items I received an email from the seller saying that she was late getting parcels out b/c her son was in the hospital. She was mailing them the following day and putting a little something in everyones parcal for the inconvience. That was it! Haven't heard a word since and that was about 3 weeks ago.Ive tried contacting this person 2 x's but she isn't replying! Since winning my items her rating went from 100% to 81%! I then decided to see what the negative comments were. The last 3 comments were not to buy anything off of the person b/c she is a theif and does not send you anything! Im sooo rotted! It only cost $25 but still...I want my parcel! Is there anyway that one can get their money back? I guess I should try contacting ebay. I was just wondering if anyone as ever experienced this!?

Yes, I have. You can open us a case with eBay to report her. There are a few different options that they'll ask for, and not receiving your items is one of them.

I would suggest that you open it NOW. eBay will cover you for the amount that you paid, and you'll get the $$ back in your paypal account...as long as the seller has funds in her own account for them to go after. (I had this happen with a pair of designer jeans, but by the time I filed my claim, she only had about 1/2 of the $$ left. Still, it was better than nothing.)

It's really not that hard, it just takes time. Either way, fraudulent or tough circumstances, you've been patient enough and business is business.

Good luck!

Lori: How did you pay for the items? If you used paypal, go there and file a claim. Make sure you do it fast as there is a deadline. NOt sure how long though. Then you will get your money back. That is why I love using paypal. I did that a couple of times. ONce, I waited too long and didn't get the money back. But, I did the second time around. Got all my money back..

Good luck! Keep us posted...

I've had to do 3 dispute resolutions. I tried to buy David Swenson's Ashtanga yoga book. Three different people (I think), 3 books never shipped. All of the disputes went in my favor and I was credited. I did try to contact all the people, but all of their phones were disconnected and they, of course, didn't respond to their e-mails.

Other than that, I've done a lot of business on ebay and I've had good experiences other than what I mentioned above. I pretty much stick with people that have 99-100% feedback ratings.

Lori, I posted an answer on our check-in group, but I'll copy it here in case anyone wants to add to it or correct anything:

The best thing to do if you haven't received something from an Ebay seller is to go to your My Ebay page and look next to the listing under "Items I've Won". There's a drop down box and you choose "Report an item not received". Then you can go through a whole process to let ebay know you didn't get it and to give her a chance to respond. If she doesn't respond in 7 days or so, I think they'll give the money back to you. I've only done this the other direction (when a buyer didn't pay for something I sold them) so I don't know exactly how it works, but hopefully you can get a refund.
