Cathlete
Hello there. I really, really, really want to get Cathe's BB series on dvd, but with my budget it is nearly impossible, unless I buy jusst one every month (and that would have to start AFTER Christmas), and in doing that, I won't get the good discount. Anyhow, I was thinking of selling some of my many unused videos on ebay. I've bought things in the past off ebay, but never sold. Can anybody explain what the process is? What happens if nobody buys a particular video? Thanks for all your help!!!

Kim

If you have purchased things on e-bay, you already have an account set up so it's relatively simple.

You sign in, go to "my e-bay" and go to selling. You put your stuff on & within 6 hours it shows up on for selling (they refresh their list every 6 hours midnight, 6AM, noon, & 6 PM). When it sells, you pay a fee based on how much it sells. There is a $0.35 (or there about) listing fee on top of the selling fee. Your best bet to get an idea how much it will cost is to check out their selling help links.

You set your shipping price & the buyer pays that.

If you take pay pal, you then have a fee with them, too, also based on how much you are receiving.

All in all, it can cost you up to 25% of your selling price to unload your stuff. However, it's done & relatively easily. All you have to do is list & wait!

I have sold a lot of stuff on e-bay--EVEN a car! LOL It's a great way to sell.

Hi Kim, I do want to add that if nobody buys your listing, you can always relist. You go to your personal e-bay account which shows you a chart of all the items you're selling. At the end of your auctions, e-bay will divide the chart into sold and unsold items. The unsold items have a relist button that goes with them. All you have to do is click on it and specify the duration of the auction, selling price and shipping fees. It's all so simple. E-bay's pages are very interactive, it's impossible to get lost. Hope this helps.:)

I have bought and sold on ebay. Selling is easy, just click on the top "sell" button -- and it will be an easy guide from then on. I think you will get more money selling on ebay. I have used them to finance my workout habits! I just want to add that usually the fees is not 25% of your selling price. Half.com has higher fees which is about 25% of the sell price. Ebay fees will usually be around $1.

Another option is buying/selling at Firm Ya Yas. You set the price and shipping (not bidding). It's easier and fast... though the prices are not as great there. Therefore, it's a good place to buy videos (as a buyer). They also trade there. I've seen people selling Cathe new videos... some still in shrink-wrap. Here's the link: (you have to register, but it's free). Go to "Swapmeet".

Good Luck!

You could also sell videos on amazon.com. I have started the process of selling some older videos to make room (and get $$) for the new. I just posted some videos 4 days ago and already sold a lot. There is a small charge, but they also give you shipping costs. Hope this helps.
