Did OK yesterday. I had to have a pumpkin cookie, since I made them for work, and of course, had to test them first.
Today:
B - Kashi cereal w/ dried cherries, soy milk, banana
L - leftover sweet potato, chicken dish, carrots, whole wheat scone, orange
D - Uh oh. Meatloaf, mac and cheese, peas. DD is home from college, and it's one of her favorite meals. I'll aim for small portions, or maybe just make myself a salad
S - apple, small piece of chocolate
Step Blast, Core Max 1
Tomarrow is the big day. Again, I'll aim for reasonable portions. You all have a great one.

Good morning ladies,

Robin, I'm amazed that you could stop yourself at one :9 :p

I had a cup of hot cocoa last night but I missed 2 snacks yesterday so I don't think any real harm was done.

B - whole grain toast with peanut butter and an orange

The rest is not planned out. I didn't get everything accopmlished yesterday that I needed to so I'm behind today.

Happy, Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Michele

Hey chicas!

Well, I've had to modify the Oxygen plan I'm using because 1400 calories a day just isn't sufficient for me and I've been hungry constantly.

So, today is:

B - 1/2 cup cottage cheese, 1 sliced pear, tbsp almonds, dash cinnamon, WW English muffin with 1 tbsp organic berries and 1 tsp pb
S - 1 graham cracker with pb, 1 lf yogurt
L - swiss cheese and black beans with grape tomatoes and a little light mayo and two cups of salad greens, 1 apple
S - 1 cup raw veggies, 2 tbsp hummus, 1 clementine
D - Leftover bulgur with veggies from last night
S - I can't actually remember:p

Tonight is GS BSB.

Shelley,

When you say bulgur with vegies, is this a dish where the wheat and vegies are combined? If so, how do you make it?

Thanks--and I agree, 1400 calories is not enough. I also had to modify the plan.

Michele :)

Michele - I just cooked up the bulgur, then I steamed broccoli and carrots, and sauteed some garlic, peppers and zucchini in a non-stick pan with no fat, then I mixed them in with the bulgur. I added a bit of balsamic vinegar and some basil. It was really pretty tasty.

Thanks Shelley. That sounds yummy:9 :p I love simple dishes like that. I often do the same thing with barley or whole wheat couscous.

Okay Ladies. We are doing so good so let's not blow it on Thanksgiving. I know for me portion control is key. We are having ham instead of Turkey and are not making huge production out of the meal. We will enjoy being around family and searching through the ads for after Thanksgiving sales.

Have a wonderful Thanksgiving everyone.

Diana

Stayed on track today. Tomorrow is Thanksgiving and I'm with Diana, portion control will be key since I refuse to give up dressing and the other trimmings that makes Thanksgiving Thanksgiving. I am making my choc/PB pies that I submitted to the Cathe cookbook and they are lower in fat and made with SF pudding. Tomorrow is rest day off the November schedule also so I am going to really enjoy tomorrow!!!!
