Easy Coreography, Intense Cardio?

Hi Everyone,
I love a fun, advanced cardio step workout, however, I just purchased Rhythmic Step and was completely humbled by the step choreography...so much so, I don't think I'll try it again. Does anyone have any suggestions for a fun, intense, step cardio workout with a minimum of fancy footwork?

Imax (VERY intense)
Step Jam (on 8 in. step can be kind of tough...very basic choreography)
Cardio Hits
There is another older one with a bun blaster section that is quite basic in choreogrpahy but I forget the name. It may not be available now. I have it on VHS.
BC cardio only premix
HSTA cardio only premix
Body Max (the original has pretty intense, basic choreography)

Hi there!

Also, doing some of her older cardio ones you will learn a lot of the moves as she really builds them on so in the newer ones, when she says things like "figure 8" or "step insole" etc you will know what she means. Hang in there, you'll get it- Rhythmic Step is fun!! The bun blaster, that's a good one - it's on Mega Step Blast (just checked mine) - which is only available on VHS that I know of.

Good luck and hang in there!!

Hello! I had just posted this in another post here for someone looking for simple choreography, not all these involve step but this is what I have that I like! HSTA is a GREAT advanced one that does use the step, I also LOVE drill max & it uses the step but only for parts of the w/o.

I also need/like simple choreography but hard workouts, I consider myself advanced. These are the ones of Cathe's that I have that are easy to learn.

B&G
Drill Max - LOVE, LOVE this one
LIC
KPC & L&G- love this one also!
Kick Max - I do the blasts first, then kicking/punching combo/leg drills
Imax, RS, MIC
HSC
HST
Boot Camp & ME
Cardio Kicks& Circuit Max
Cross Train Express
Gym Style Legs
BM2- not as easy to learn
Cardio Fusion-also not easy

Hope this helps!

I would also agree with the original Interval Max. Another great one is Circuit Max, although it's a circuit workout, this one has made me feel like I was gonna puke on many occassion b/c it's so tough. It's an oldie but goodie.

I just ordered GS Legs and will probably order Cross Train Express next. As far GS Legs goes, how many days a week is necessary to show results? I really need to work on muscle definition in my legs-- I don't know why it's taking so long!

Again, thanks everyone for the suggestions! I have lots of shopping to do now!

Do you tend to build muscle quickly or does it take a lot for you to gain muscle. For me, I build muscle very easily so I personally do B&G more than Gym Style legs but that is b/c gym style goes heavier on the weights, which I have to watch. I would say if you are really looking to tone up the legs do it 2 times a week maybe? KPC & Legs & glutes I would say is a good one you should get. KPC is so easy to follow along & you get legs&glutes with it which is an awesome lower body workout. About half of it uses the high step & the 2nd half doesn't.
