Hi all - I am new to Cathe workouts, not new to exercising or weights. Have primarily done Beachbody Workouts and some paper weight lifting workouts. My goal is fat loss, limited to no cardio, but incorporating HIIT workouts. I have seen recommendations for STS, RWH, and Xtrain. I am not looking to piece together two many different programs and would rather just purchase a complete set. Currently I signed up for OnDemand to try some of the workouts out, but $ wise can't do that for long.

What would be suggestions for a good fat loss program with limited cardio, not high rep in weights. I have tried the Burn Sets, and RWH Shoulder, Chest... (a little fast paced with heavy weights, but doable).

Hi Candace, my opinion would be to purchase RWH. It has a great user's guide so you can get various rotations with the 9 workouts in the one series. You would get a lot of fat burning, maintain your muscle mass without high reps and the cardio workouts are HIIT based, not steady state. With upper and lower body HIIT circuit workouts you can get some great fat burning! I looked at the calories burned listed on the Workout Manager and is about the same or greater than most other comparable workouts that meet your requirements, and they are all in one program.

My other suggestion would be to do lots of metabolic and bootcamp workouts while you have On Demand. These are great calorie burners due to the afterburn effect. Check out: ICE-Metabolic Total Body, Cross Fire, To the Max, LIS-Cardio Supersets, LIS-After Burn, Xtrain-Supercuts, Bootcamp, Drill Max, 4DS-Bootcamp and ICE-Bootcamp Circuit while you can. Enjoy!
 
I have RWH and X Train, and find the fun factor is much higher with X Train while RWH is much more advanced. So I really enjoy the 90-day X Train rotation, but feel quite worn out after 30 days of RWH. I feel both have a place in my fitness program, but if I was only going to get one, it would X Train.

I was looking at the XTrain set - are the burn sets different than the other weight workouts in the set? I am doing OnDemand so it shows them differently I think. I really like the Burn sets

Hello - I asked a similar question in another post - it seems that X-Train and RWH may be good for heavy lifting. Also STS - meso 2 and meso 3 might be helpful - but I think the whole STS program is great..
