Dumbbell rack

Over the years, I've collected dumbbells of different types, including neoprene, vinyl, cast iron and iron hexagon. Actually, everything from 8 lbs. up is hexagon. It looks like its time for me to get a dumbbell rack, but the racks seem to made for only one type of dumbbell. Has anyone found a rack that holds varying types of dumbbells? Thanks!

Nancy -- I have a dumbbell rack made by Cap Barbell. It is shaped in a triangle, holds 6 pairs of dumbbells. Each dumbbell is cradled and rests on the handle. Each type of dumbbell you mention would work.

21 inch rack at Fleet Farm. holds 8pr dumbbells. Was less than $30.

I bought my rack at Dick's Sporting Goods, it holds all different kinds of dumbbells.

Thanks for the link! The rack is nice, but capacity for 6 sets of dumbbells isn't enough for me. I currently have: 3,4,5,6,8,10,12,15 and I'm ordering 20. So that's 9 sets. Also, I think I'd like to have extra space for possible future purchases. After all, I may go heavier still!

Nancy -- I would think the smaller rack would hold all of your dumbbells. 36" times 3 rows....line up your dumbbells on the floor and measure and that should give you a better idea of how much capacity you would have. My rack doesn't hold all of my dumbbells either; I store the sets I don't use (need to work up to ;-) ).
