thought I would give you my perception of the workout. I really, thoroughly enjoyed this, and my sports circuit class has really given me a new found admiration for functional fitness, endurance based workouts. Drillmax is that to a T. What I will say is that you definitely have to think outside the box (or high step...ha) for this workout, and I say this because I think more people than not have it in their heads that to work a certain part effectively you need to use traditional type weight bearing moves. Not true in this workout.
I laughed over the funny about calling this workout "shoulders & asses" because it sort of seemed like that was where she focused. However, I can say all of these moves were nontraditional and did not necessarily isolate one specific part. For example, she has you doing a lot of compound movements, like the torso twist with a squat included. Also the pushups on the ball (hands placed on the ball), tricep dips using the ball, lunges with lateral raises, plank pushups with knee pulled in, etc. So, I do feel it in a lot of places. Give yourself a few times to get adjusted to the movements and really flow with this one. It is not hard to follow but I think it is one that will get even better with time as you do it.
Now for some funnies, or my funnies during the w/o
We were in one cardio agility drill (hopping forward, skips, what have you) and I looked at her and said "no...way...how many more cycles of this?" Cathe then goes "huh? how many more cycles? haha. Just one more". I was staring blankly at the screen. I am convinced she has eyes in the back of her head
Also, the pushups on the ball, I was initially like, how the hell is this happening? I think that will really take practice and stabilization. At the end, which I thought was the last drill, I was fearful that another one would pop up. Thank god the cool down. I think the endurance of it all catches up with you and it feels like you've been working out a week.
Anyhow, sorry for my super duper long windedness. You can snark me out later if ya want
I hope this helps guys! Enjoy

My grandmother started walking five miles a day when she was sixty. She's ninety-seven now, and we don't know where the hell she is.
