Has anyone heard he died? I feel so sad. I grew up with this man. Every morning while getting ready for school in the 70's. everyone who grew up in the San Francisco Bay area listed to him. He was the original crazy morning DJ (with none of that offensive stuff). I guess he could be heard all along the Pacific Coast before the sun rose. Here's to Dr. Don.....you were dearly loved by many.

I had not heard that he died. How sad. We must be around the same age, Tallchick because I used to listen to Dr. Don every morning in the 70's, on the way to school. He is/was also a member of my parent's church. He was very shy and quiet in person.
Did you go to Monte Vista High School? I think he had child(ren) there the same time I was in high school. I am 44 rapidly turning 45. You? I am so glad that someone else remembers him. I remember seeing him on tv and not believing that was him. Channel 2 Oakand (my brother works there now).
