Hi Donna,

In a previous post you mentioned that Flexamin was your favorite Gluc/Chon pill. Can you tell me why?

I'm almost out. I have tried the generic horse pills and have to crush them or cut them up into 4 pieces to get them down. I have also tried Osteo Bi-Flex chewables, but they are VERY sweet like Starburst, and I can only take them so much! Plus they are expensive.

Thanks.

Hi Andrea,

Now here's the dilemma~ I started out with whatever brand had a sale going, so by the time I tried flexamin, which I only tried because of a $5.00 off coupon in Prevention magazine, my body was use to taking it, so I don't know if it "seemed" to be the best because it contains the extra ingredient MSM, which is suppose to relieve symptoms of arthritis, or if it was just that my body was at a place where I have a sufficient build up of Glu-Cho and which brand I use really doesn't matter?
I've stuck with the Flexamin since it does have the MSM, I figure my joints can use all the support they can get with the stress I put on them, but they are expensive, so if you find a brand with MSM that's cheaper, I'd try it, how different can they be? Or if arthritic joints isn't an issue for you, you might want to just get brands of Glu-Cho that are currently on sale when you go to purchase it. I can't imagine one brand can really differ from another, just possibly by the addition of other added supplements like MSM or some other added supplement.
