Doing STS mesocycles out of order?

Cathlete
If someone is most interested in gaining strength, would they start in with mesocycle 3? If not, why not.

TIA

Nope, that's not it.
It's the first place I looked, and there's no question by Clare on it, and no answer by SNM addressing this issue.

Thanks for trying!;-)

Hmmm, I did a search and came up empty too...maybe Clare can find it and post the link. The one I posted DOES talk about doing them out of order though. :)

Sorry ladies, have been unavailable for most of the day. Looks like you found it though! I was referring to SNM's answers to me on Feb 2nd and 3rd. Did you see them Kathryn?

And so, what do you think? Will you follow SNM's advice or are you going to do your own thing and dip into the mesocycles at will?

I think I am going to bow to their wisdom, at least once (!), and do the whole thing from start to finish, to have an idea of exactly what the program can achieve and how the theory works in practice on my own body. Then, depending on how 'rebellious' I feel, I may play with it. ;-)

There certainly can't be anything wrong with doing some different exercises for a change.....

Clare :)

I think I'll do the same (especially seeing that my 'non-exercise' days have far---much too far!--outnumbered my 'exercise' days lately...though by the time STS comes out---um, 2009> LOL!--I hope to have remedied that situation).
