Dog Booties

Hello everyone,

I recall reading about dog booties recently- I think it was here. I would like to buy my dog these to protect his paws from the cold and rock salt. Can anyone recommend a good set?

I got mine from PetSmart. They worked very well (was in Nags Head, boy do they have some cactus there!), but the best part was watching the pup adjust to them.
 
that might have been a post on here inspired by my dogs' booties in their pics on their website!

the booties brie and tyler were wearing are no longer available at the place i originally got them.. but there are lots of sites that offer them..

if you are looking for protection from cold/rock salt.. try sled dog supply sites!
 
Speaking of cute dogs...my sister just got a puppy last Sunday. It's a toy fox terrier - 9 weeks old. She brought him up this past weekend for "Christmas". OMG! He is the absolute CUTEST thing I've ever seen. I wish I could send you all the picture of him sleeping all curled up in my hand. My 80 lb. shepherd/pit bull was NEVER that small!
 
Our dogs have Ruff Wear booties for rocky trails. They look like the "Comfort Fit" boots sold by Drs. Foster & Smith.

I've put several different types of boots on my dog. He has sensitive pads and will bleed easily on rough surfaces. The set he has now is excellent. They do not come off, even when he runs. They're not cheap.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone!!! I think I may go to Petsmart first and check out the selection. By the way, I saw a pair from Ruff Wear online, and it reminded me- does anyone have a car harness for their dog? I bought the Ruff Rider Roadie a few months ago and love it.
