Does your DH/BF/SO...

Cathlete
...ever visit the Cathe Forums? My DH said he has been on here before, just to see what all the fuss is about (I talk about you guys all the time!). Great, now I have to be careful what I say about him because he might read it! LOL! ;)

I would certainly hope not! :D I used to bring up forum topics with my XSO and got a lot of weird looks and eyebrow raisings. Since I still live with the guy, I'd hate for him to know I bring him up on here occasionally! }(

I'm curious to see other people's responses!

I'm not sure my BF even knows how to turn on the computer! He barely knows who Cathe is and thinks the Road Trip is a big waste of time and money - kinda what I think about his hunting habit!!

Angie

No. He knows about them but is totally uninterested. And that's ok with me!!

My DH kinda knows about the forum...he knows I post on a fitness forum alot but he doesn't know the name of it. He could find it if he wanted to though. I have it saved in my favorites folder. :) He won't though...he has no interest...lol

Actually, that reminds me...I have to post a new thread. DH actually suggested something to me that I should ask you ladies! lol I'll post it in a new thread...

Same here Angie--my BF can barely read email, much less reply.

He does not however think the road trip is a waste. OK maybe I get the occasional eye roll when I'm overexcited (which is probably more often than not LOL) but he pretty much supports anything I want to do. I mean the guy is taking a week's vacation in July to hunt & fish in Montana--Montana of all places! No offense to those of you in Montana, but if I'm taking a week off & spending all kinds of money on accommodations, it's gonna be to some place w/a beach & room service, not some place where I have to stock up on Deet. :p

My DH doesn't get on but asks almost every day what is happening at Cathe's place. I see more of an interest from him now that the roadtrip is planned. (Not to mention that our mailbox is FULL of E-mails from trippers!:7) Luckily, I have myself a GOOD one so I wouldn't say anything negative about him! :7 :7 :7

DH sees me on the computer at home and says, "Must be visiting Cathe. What's going on today?" or "How are the Cathe girls doing?".

He's so cute :)

Nope! On the other hand, he has no issue with my being here all of the time. That's enough for me!

Christine :)

Well, I've posted before that my everloving, practcal joker, DH will creep up on here if I forget to log off while I take a break. He posts ridiculous replies, as if it's me, & then just cracks himself up thinking about it. See the Abracadabra thread. Anyway, he has promised not to do it again, since you guys have found it it's really him posting at those times & not me going off my rocker.

Marla!

I think that is cute! He must be lots of fun!

My husband is *thrilled* that I have found this board. I am living in a new area and have not managed to make any real friends, certainly not anyone into fitness the way I am, so normally all my fitness chatter is directed at him. He's very patient with it and says encouraging things like "that's great, babe" and "wow, you must be feeling it today" but let's face it, is he really dying to know how many pikes I did on the ball? :p

He's off the hook now! (mostly)

Sparrow

Sparrow - I feel the same. My SO just doesn't get excited enough when I go running in to show him my newly discovered bicep vein. Thank goodness I have you guys to WHOOT WHOOT for me:)

Shelley!

We look forward to your sharing your vein in July with us all! Don't lose it!!!

RE: Debbie!

Don't you worry Debbie. I'm working on making them MORE prominent. In fact, I believe it may have been the vein that pushed my SO back into working out again.;)

RE: Debbie!

Ha! That is GREAT! Do you think I could possibly "find" a bicep vein from all the typing I am doing today???
