Does highstep and bootcamp count as weights or aerobics??

Hey all,

I do highstep and bootcamp each once a week. Does this count towards my weight bearing exercise for weight loss or should I add in a day of just weights to make sure I don't lose muscle mass? I hear that we do most of our calorie burning in our rest phase and of course the more muscle the more calories our bodies burn. I do 4 other days Imax2, Imax3, and kickboxing. I feel like I am not losing anymore and I'm guessing its probably coming down to diet but God I feel like I sure do work hard. Any thoughts?

If you're doing a lot of straight cardio, I would suggest adding in some straight weight training days to rev start your body. I don't have High Step but Bootcamp is a circuit workout - a combintion of the two - and excellent for endurance, strength, etc.

Yes, I jump kicked my weight loss when I added heavy weights to my workout. I started with Maximum Intensity Strength and Muscle Endurance. Lifted for an hour, twice a week. Now I'm on to the gym series. I love how it sculpts my body.
