Does HC make you hungrier?

I normally eat every 3-4 hours. My last meal of the day is usually at 8 p.m. For three nights this week, I've had to get out of bed at around midnight because I was plain hungry, and there's no ignoring the hunger pangs. These were days when I did HC weight work. Maybe HC weight work is tougher on my body than I realize.

I am just the opposite. The workouts are definitely harder and I have increased my upper body strength...I can now go heavier for back, biceps and triceps and have increase my reps at the weight I was at for chest and I have broken through a weight plateau. For some reason, my appetite has seemed dulled for the last couple of weeks.

Yes HC workouts can make you hungry if they are harder for you, and the same is true they can make you not so hungry, just becareful if they make you not so hungry you don't go into starvation mode, as the body for some reason will send signals to the brain saying it's not hungry beccause it's trying to slow down and store fuel as fat. You got to constantly watch your body and make sure it's behaving, it's worse then a 3 year old that gets into everything. At least with a 3 year old you know they are going to get into something. With your body you never know what its going to do, either burn things up and go "I'm hungry." Or burn things up an looks around "Hey no food!, must make fat, someone is straving me, slow down and shut things down so the next time I have an intesne workout I still have fuel."

Yes do eat if your hungry and may add a bit more healthy protien to your last meal.

As for not being hungry eat your same amount so you can force your body not to start to slow down when your not working, and it has fuel so it won't be so tempted to start storing the food you do eat.
