Does anyone know...

...why, when I work chest, I don't feel the muscles at the time, but am very very sore the next day. But, when I work other body parts, I feel them at the time, but only get mildly sore if at all the next day. My chest muscles are also taking longer to respond (grow/tone) than my other muscles.

No. But recently I did read or hear somewhere (I forget where but at the time it seemed reputable) that some muscle groups are more prone than others to the lactic acid build up that causes soreness--and the chest was one of them. Jeanne
