Does anyone here speak Dutch?

I got an email and I do understand a little bit of Dutch, but I can't make much sense of this, especially the third and 5th sentence. I know oma and opa are grandpa and grandma. Ok, here it is

Onze lieve mams is weer terug bij papa.

Lieve oma is weer bij opa.

Dag leine oma!

We zullen je heel erg missen.

Wij zullen in kleine kring afscheid van haar nemen.

I tried freetranslations.com but the translation there makes even less sense.

Can anyone help out? Thanks!

Carola

well, here's what the free on-line translator gave me...proving, once again, that you get what you pay for!:)

Our kind mams are at papa.
Kind granny is at opa.
Day leine granny!
We your complete terrible missing.
We will take in small ring farewell of its.

Well then, what can I say but, "We will take in small ring farewell of its!!!"

I am SOOOO Bilingual!

Okay, I just sent it to my good friend who is from the Netherlands. She also does translation. I'll let you know!

So, not only is everyone in my office wondering why I'm laughing so hard, but also I did punching drills yesterday with weights and every time I laugh, it hurts. If my coworkers walk in to see my laughing hysterically with tears running down my cheeks, I'm sure to be fired!

If that the case We will take in small ring farewell of its.

I lived in the Netherlands for two years, but left there two and a half years ago, so my Dutch is rusty, but I can see what I can remember. If I don't know a word or phrase I will leave it in Dutch.

"Onze lieve mams is weer terug bij papa."
Our beloved "mams" is again back with daddy.

"Lieve oma is weer bij opa."
Beloved (or sweet?) grandma is again with grandpa.

"Dag leine oma!"
All I can tell you here is "Dag" is a way to say "hello" and of course you know "oma".

"We zullen je heel erg missen."
We do (or maybe it's we will) miss you very much.

"Wij zullen in kleine kring afscheid van haar nemen."
We will bring a little business to her. (OK, not sure if that's right at all.)

Don't know if that translation made any more sense! But it was fun to try. Better wait for an expert. Oh, and I'd like to add that if you know how to pronounce Dutch, reading Dr. Seuss books published in Dutch is very amusing.

Okay, here is my Dutch friend's translation:

Onze lieve mams is weer terug bij papa.
Our dear mommy is back with Daddy

Lieve oma is weer bij opa.
Dear Grandma is back with Grandpa

Dag leine oma!
Bye -------- (I think they mean "little") Grandma

We zullen je heel erg missen.
We will miss you very much

Wij zullen in kleine kring afscheid van haar nemen.
We will say our goodbyes with a small gathering.

So, kind of sad, huh? I guess Grandma passed away.

Astrid is a translator, so I am pretty sure this is a good translation!

:)

Don't feel bad!!! The original translation was REALLY funny!!! I use those online translators sometimes. It's funny to see the things that come out!

Thanks, Lorie. I really appreciate it, you are a great friend!!!

Don't feel bad TeTe, I thought it was hilarious, I had tears running down my eyes. I am sure that Grandma is sitting somewhere, watching this and chuckling :)

Yes, even up in heaven, Grandma will take in small ring farewell of its. ;)

Carola, I'm so sorry this message turned out to not be a good one. (((hugs))) to you.
