Does anyone eat out for lunch?

My son and I usually go to Chili's. I get their chicken caesar salad with dressing on the side, that way I can put as little (or as much:9 ) as I want, or their margarita-grilled chicken. I push away the rice and eat only the beans with the chicken. If we're at a food court at a mall, I get bourbon chicken from Cajun Grill and eat only the vegetables that come with it. Or I get something from Panda Express -- lightly stir-fried, with lots of veggies and not too saucy, like beef with broccoli and pepper chicken. They give you the low-carb option and let you have vegetables instead of rice or lo mein.

I don't usually eat out(for lunch, that is, dinner is different), but I just had the McDonald's Sesame Chicken Salad and it was delicious! It even had edame (spelling? they are shelled boiled soy beans) on it! The only downside is the dressing was a little sweet for my taste (though only 80 calories per packet) and I would only use half next time. On the up side, the dressing (an Asian soy sauce type) has red pepper flakes, so it was a little spicy. I hope this one is successful so I can eat it when we travel!

I usually bring my lunch for work, but I'm lucky to have a grocery store with the most amazing salad bar very close by if I choose to eat out. It has tons and tons of options, along with a whole hot food bar area and sandwiches and pre-made salads.

If I'm feeling decadent, I'll meet my SO at Quiznos and have a small veggie sub on whole wheat.:)

I avoid food courts like the plague, as there's nothing for me to eat there. If we go out for lunch on the weekend, it's usually our big meal of the day and we'll do ethnic, Indian or Middle Eastern or Vietnamese.

I hardly ever go out for lunch - we have a large cafeteria in our office with professional chefs who carve roast beef for you and grill burgers to order and whatnot. Of course, that stuff makes no difference to me, as I don't eat meat - but they have a very good salad bar that I frequent, and their soups are fabulous (especially the tomato soup!). :)

i RARELY eat out for lunch (usually only when i run out of food at home). But there is a subway accross the street that i go to when that happens, and get either a veggie sub or a turkey sub, depending on my mood. :p

When i go out to eat for dinner (probobly once a month) I get whatever I want and don't think about it, just because it's probobly the one decadent meal i will have all month! Last month i got lobster ravioli from Macaroni grill... it was SO GOOD! :9 worth every fat gram! hehe}(

I always eat salads with low fat dressings and maybe an appetizer like bruschetta or a whole wheat low-fat cheese quessidalla.
