Do your low rise jeans "click"?

Kind of a weird question here, but for those of you who wear low rise jeans, do they click when you walk? Mine click right in my crotch area and I can't figure out why. And every pair I own, whether its London Jeans, OS jeans, whatever, they all click! Its quite annoying when you are walking through the office and all you hear is "click, click, click, click!"

RE: Do your low rise jeans

Oh my gosh, yes! Not with all my jeans. I had a pink pair of guess capri's and they would click, click, click whenever I moved and I decided it would be too embarrassing to go around sounding like I may have farted or something so I got rid of them. My other jeans don't seem to do that.

LOL!!!!!! Charlotte, you are too funny!

I don't have this problem, but then I wear mid-rise rather than low-rise.

Hope you work it out!

RE: Do your low rise jeans

This happens to me...but not just on lowrise jeans. It drives me crazy and I was finally able to figure out what was causing it. The two seams in the legs rub together and when this seam is thicker the more noise it makes. Its so strange and weird I've never complained or talked about it with anyone but SO.
Sorry I dont have any help to offer just understanding unforntately.

RE: Do your low rise jeans

The insides of my jeans don't rub together because I thought that might be it with me. They just click. LOL! very frustrating. I notice if I pull them up they don't click, but they are low rise, I don't want them pulled up!

RE: Do your low rise jeans

Huh, that's strange. What's causing the sound? Is it the seams rubbing together? You can wet the denim & use sandpaper on the seams to soften them up, maybe that'll help?

RE: Do your low rise jeans

This is a funny topic! I don't wear low risers so I can't help but I agree that the clicking has to be from seams that are rubbing together...if not the inside leg seams then it must be the crotch seams especially since you say if you pull them up, the clicking stops. I'd guess it's the crotch seams. Try this...put a wash cloth in jean crotch and see if the clicking stops. Now, if that works...I don't know what to tell you to do but it would just mean that there is enough play in the crotch area of the jeans (when worn in the low rise position) that the seams are rubbing together.

You know I will now be listening for clicks when I meet people on the street wearing low rise jeans!
