Do you still have a video or 2 that you can't give up?

I took out Reebok Extreme Step with Gin today. I haven't done this one in at least 2-3yrs. I needed a quick intense cardio and thought that since I am doing Cathe workouts so regularly this wouldn't be so hard and I probably should get rid of it. Wrong! In this 28 min. workout I was pretty winded. I kicked it up a little bit more, but the side one armed pushups on the bench are just way more than I could handle and resorted to 2 armed pushups. I took it out of the "get rid of" pile.

Another one for me is FitPrime Up & Down. That's a tough lower body workout for me, but not one I really grab for.

Anyone have a video you just hate to part with, but don't do very often?

I can't part with any of my Kathy Smith videos even though I haven't done them in years. Kathy was my introduction into working out at home and I have a huge soft spot for her. I also keep them just in case something happens and I cannot do Cathe any more.

I also keep my Karen Voight tapes for this same reason.

I keep Gin Miller's Intense Moves and Cathe's PowerMax and Rhythmic Step, which I almost never do, but I just can't part with forever.

Yes, I must confess. I keep my first tape, Jane Fonda's Complete Workout, in a drawer by itself. It helps me to remember how far I've come in the past 12+ years...thru 3 babies...etc.

Firm Volume 1. I just can't part with it, and probably never will, although it takes up the space of at least 4 DVDs.

I can't seem to give up Keli Roberts Ultimate Step; it was my first "more difficult" step tape (at least I thought it was difficult at the time!). I am also keeping Karen Voights Burn and Firm and her step circuit DVDs for sick days. Finally, I have a bunch of older Kari Anderson workouts that I doubt I'll do too often, but I will never part with.

Shelbygirl-
I STILL can't do that Keli Roberts step tape!! x( I'm so choreographically challenged it ain't funny.

All my Jane Fondas and I have them all! I just can't get rid of them. Once in a blue moon I make myself do one also. So nice how easy they've become!! :D

ALL of my Cathe videos. Power Max is my favorite though--it was my first Cathe video & I feel very nostalgic about it. Also love seeing Cathe working out in the butt floss leotard--it brings back such funny memories!

I have over 200 workouts, so, yes, there are actually quite a few I can't part with! I do find that the more basic step workouts (Reeboks, Kathy Smith, Keli Roberts) are good for times when I want to step, but I don't want choreography or spinny/torquey moves. I actually prefer this kind of step workout and wish there were more (updated) ones like it.

I'll never give up my Cindy's!! (Cindy Crawford)

New Dimension
Next Challenge
Shape Your Body

These are my all time classic favorites. I even have back up copies.

Karen Voight's Energy Sprint and Cathe's Step Heat and Step Fit. All of these I keep because I do suffer periods of months when I don't work out due to ill health or academic pressure, and these are the workouts I use to ease back into it again. After that, I never do them becaue they're neither fun enough nor challenging enough!

I still have kept all my old Jane Fonda videos (in case something happens and I ever have to start over again....hopefully never will). I also can't part with any of my Kathy Smith videos. They were my first ones after Jane.

The Firm Maximum Body Sculpting w/ Tracie Long... I keep that for draggin butt days or when I am not up to par. I used today because I pinched the nerve in my lower back and have been off from exercising for the last two days and did not want to miss another..Some exercise is better than none..that tape is just to easy, but sometimes I need that

I own "Shape Your Body" too..I think it's the first exercise video that I bought. I also have Claudia Schiffer's Perfectly Fit Abs...I used to alternate between those two all the time. :)

I can't part with my old Jane Fondas and that includes the original! Like others, it reminds me of how far I've come and also all the fitness trends and changes we've been through. I also can't part with any of my Cathe's!

I think I have over 300 workouts now (I don't dare count!), so there are many that I just cannot part with either! I still love the old Reebok step workouts and do them every once in a while. I have just about every advanced Tae Bo ever made (and they still kick my butt). I also have Cory Everson workouts, the Chyna Workout (one of my favorites, believe it or not - big Chyna fan), almost all Karen Voight, just to name a few. I like having my workout collection so I can change up the workouts often. I do not like to be bored! So don't feel bad about not being able to part with some of your older workouts. You're not alone - believe me! :)

That's so cool! :) Cindy got me started! The music and scenery is the absolute best I've ever seen in a workout video.

I must say that I CAN give up my Tae-Bo tapes--I can't stand that Billy Blanks guy!!! I've also let Sweatin' to the Oldies fall through the cracks!! LOL

RE: Do you still have a video or 2 that you can't give ...

Jane Fonda's Lower Body Solution (although I wil probably never do it) and Step Reebok: The Video and The Power Video.

I think that if they were on DVD I might do them but Cathe has me spoiled w/her wonderful DVD's.
