Do you remember when? OMG!.....Sit n Stands!

almost no words for this, first time (I think), yeah, I'm sure I would've remembered these! Holy Butt-kick batman, no I didn't say any nasties & wouldn't share if I did, it's a family show....;)....but gosh did I make faces, and it wasn't the only thing, I was making faces at, sure I'll be back to normal tomorrow....yeah, right!

Pure Strength - Strong Legs & Abs (was I supposed to have the strong legs before I tried this?) any tips on the sit n stands appreciated....:confused:

Do you guys remember any of your firsts?

Sit n stands sure are brutal. I come up higher then Cathe does for the "hold". It's the only way I'll make it through! :p:eek:
 
Haven't done the Pure Strength DVD, but sit and stands are also in the Cross-train Express leaner legs workout. Killer! The only thing I can say is keep doing them and you will see great gains.
 
I love the pure strength series! I was actually going to pull it out today, how timely! Sit and stands are almost as evil as low ends!
 
Cathe also does Sit & Stands in the bonus lower body segment on B&G. But I'm usually way too fried after B&G to even contemplate doing the bonus!
 
Hi Lisa la machina- I totally know what you mean!! I'm totally wiped by the end of B&G and just noticed the bonus segment which I will start with at the beginning of my workout the next time (after the warm-up). My legs are wobbling or wibbling as Cathe puts it and the next morning it's "owe, owe, owe, oweeeeee" down the stairs in a desperate attempt for some recovery java!:eek::eek:

Repeat after me it's a good pain, it's a good pain!!! :eek::cool::eek:

No B & G yet, and I think I have an appointment with L & G in October, unless the new ones come in, then it'll be Lower Body Blast...( I just miss-typed that, it said Lower Body Blest, hmmmm? ) what do ya think....it's a sign...:)
 
I must have been doing them wrong because sit 'n stands was one of the few leg exercises I could do all the way through and still want more. Leg PRESSES, on the other hand, kill me every time. Especially the ones with the extra risers like in Muscle Endurance. I think Cathe does 3 sets in that workout, and I can't even finish one! (And sitting on the toilet becomes torture for about a week afterwards ;)).
