Do you recommend doing cardio after lifting or vice versa...

or does it not make a difference either way? I have been doing cardio first, then pub or slow & heavy after....which is better for burning fat, while maintaining and building new muscle?

I think you are wonderful....I especially love the pregnant pic of you....very inspiring for me to lose my baby weight after having 3 boys in 6 years! Thanks for all your inspiration.

I've heard that lifting weights is better for cardio if you are trying to build muscle. If you've done cardio first and exerted all your energy, it will be much more difficult to lift heavier weights. I've done it both ways and can definitely lift heavier before cardio. Hope that helps!

Joanna if you want to build muscle, then you should definitely do cardio after lifting weights. It's so important to concentrate on good form when lifting weights. If you did cardio first, you'd be too tired to focus on lifting properly.

Or better yet, do cardio and weight lifting on separate days. Then you can give equal attention to both.

I say do it the way you'll actually get it done! Too much pressure to do it this way or that might hinder your actual getting-it-done. Listen to your body. Personally, I flip-flop. Sometimes my body wants it before, sometimes afterwards...and sometimes, my schedule determines it!
