Do you make up your workouts that you miss?

I have only recently started sticking to rotations, and I really enjoy it better than my old mish mosh way of working out. For those of you that follow a rotation, what do you do if you miss a workout? I thought I would fit in what I needed to today, and I didn't. I'm expecting company any minute for the night so I won't fit it in at all now. Would you do it tomorrow and push everything up a day? or skip it? it's the last day of my rotation, so I'm supposed to start over tomorrow.

i guess in the grand scheme of things, it's not a huge deal, but i'm just curious to see what everyone else does in this situation.

It depends.
Sometimes I'll just take right up where I left off (and count the day I missed as a rest day).
Other times, I'll 'combine' the missed workout with the following workout (like if I missed upper body and have cardio scheduled for theh day, I'll do a long warm-up from a cardio workout, like Cardio Kicks, then do upper body, then finish the cardio workout).

I used to, even if it meant doing two full workouts in one day. That usually meant marathon workouts on a weekend! Not anymore. If I miss a cardio workout, then it's usually just going to have to be missed - unless I can switch my scheduled rest days. If it's a weight workout, sometimes I'm able to do a half-way catchup by doing a full body workout instead of just upper body or just lower body.

it depends on the workout. if its cardio or yoga i try to add-on at least 20 mins. of it onto my following days workout. if its weights i usually just skip it b/c its hard to rearrange that schedule so i don't wind up workign the same body part to soon. if its that big of a deal that i miss it i do a pilates or yoga workout that works that spot i missed.
