Do you have a juicer?

If so, which one? I'm in the market for one and would like to get several opinions. Why do you like the one you have? What is the cost?

Thanks,
Shelly

I have a champion juicer that I love! I drink 16 ounces of pure veggie juice every morning. The Lalanne one is a good one to start out with. Then if you want to continue juicing you can purchase a champion or greenstar. The cheaper ones have the centifuge that supposedly does not juice as well as the auger types. Like everything else, the juicing world and info. is vast once you start getting into it. Don't get a cheapy Juiceman Juicer from Walmart. Those things are loud and you don't get as much juice.

Checkout: www.rawfoodsupport.com A good messageboard. They also have a section where they rate juicers.:)

I've got an Omega juicer (about $150) that extracts more juice than the champion juicer, but the champion juicer can do great things. You can feed in whole frozen strawbs and bananas and out the other end comes icecream that you'll swear has sugar and cream in it - worth it for this aspect alone. There's a lot you can do with a champion. AND I got an almost new one at a garage sale for $50.00 and I've seen them listed in the classifieds occasionally. Just look around. Only drawback is...it is very heavy and takes up counter space.
