OH Man my shoulders are sore!!! Combination of CLX workouts and housework??? No weights for me today. I am planning on a run and abs.

thanks everyone. and it's great to see everyone keeping up with the workouts. we can do this!

welcome, welcome to the group to our new cathlete. checking in regularly can really help with being accountable.

I just move into our first house. since about mid dec. i hadn't done any planned w/o until this past week. we do have stairs though, which is much different than the 1 story ranch style we were in before. just cleaning the house is a workout, really. that's why i wasn't that concerned i wasn't getting planned exercise. recently though, i noticed my legs don't feel strong like they did before. so i started doing some stair sprints and the squat test i wrote about. i tried to do as many squats as i could. mostly these were in sets of 10. i admit i often lost count, but i did around 300. lots of walking around between sets. some of those were kinda alternating between legs, air punching in a squat position, just to make it more interesting.

i was very surprised i could do so many. that was thurs. felt ok on thur. night. Fri and Sat a lot of DOMS, but it helped to walk around. also did more walking up the stairs. i love the feeling like i'm on a stair master. for free. i always wanted one of those, lol.
sun-today, little bit sore, but i think it's almost gone.

i plan to work on getting stronger this month. should be a bit leaner too, since my legs seem to be smaller than before. which is weird to explain. they feel like jello, and look untoned, but less wide than before. well anyway, once i get the muscle back, should be able to see it.

we have a workout room set up now. no more weight benches in the kitchen and punching bags in the living room and bedroom.

Great Job Belinda! I agree on the leg drills! I did the leg drills from kickmax not too long ago and was sore for several days after!

Hey girls, just a quick pop in before i go to work. I'm dragging my butt today..I'm pretty sure I have a sinus infections...im going to take antibiotics and see if they help. Meanwhile, I will be drinking plenty of water and doing my nasal wash.

ok...i will try and pop back in later. Im so sorry for the lack of personals.:(
 
did a little bit of raking leaves with the kids. our yard is FULL of leaves. we just have 1 rake right now though, so we took turns using it. they enjoyed doing it. not sure what else i'll do. probably will involve stairs lol. i will conquer those stair sprints one of these days, he he.

the whole yard work subject is totally new to the kids. we didn't have to mow the lawn or anything before. so shoveling snow, ice, raking, mowing, all new and they are excited about it. there's gardens in front and backyards.
 
Hi everyone!

Well, this evening's STS workout was pre-empted by ShovelMax. About 5" of the white stuff so far and it's still coming down. Ice/Sleet is supposed to be coming near the tail end. So not looking forward to the drive to the airport or the flight delay. At least I'll be heading south where it's warmer. Legs still have DOMS from last night's wo. Not bad as long as I'm moving, but starting to move (like after I've been sitting on front of the computer), it's OUCH!

Belinda - Cathe's leg drills do tend to be a killer. I was proud that I was able to take them on through Meso 1.

Heidi - How was the run? And are those shoulders still killing you at the end of the day?

Kristina - Isn't it so nice when the wo equipment leaves the family room? I'm so glad we set it up on the basement - not always so glad to come back up those stairs on leg days, though! LOL!

Amelia - Hope you feel better quickly. Did the kids take care of you today?

Allee - What'd you get done today?

Time to go finish laundry and pack. See ya all tomorrow.
