Good morning,

Thanks everyone, for your prayers & hugs! That means a lot to me.

DH and I had a wonderful time hikiing & eating at Weltenburg monistary yesterday:p we also took the dogs for a long walk again.

Today DH and I went for a 3 1/2 mile run, than I took the dogs for a 45 min walk.

My husband and I are getting ready to go to Bamberg, they having a fest going on.

Heidi - I will keep your sis in my thoughts & prayer!

Oh I hate when that happens Allee! I have gone through many players!!! Sometimes
shutting it off then restarting helps...although this messes up your cardio workout but at least you can finish it up.

Just finished too:
2miles worth. Great stretch at the end of this one too. ;)

Off to shower and then a memorial for my Step Uncle. Gosh I wish people would stop dying! I have been to so many funerals lately.

Good Morning

Im surprised to see no one checking in yet? Everyone must be busy today. I just ate breakfast, just waiting a bit before i start my workout. Im doing a full body weight lifting. Think i will do either ME, SS or PH. Not sure yet:confused:.

I got another yoga workout yesterday called Mtv Power Yoga w/Kristen Mcgee, I previewed it yesterday and despite the cheesy name it looked really intense. Its that 'flowing' type of yoga that i LOVE! Not sure why its called 'MTV" maybe because the music mix is by MTV? Anyhoot can't wait to do it.

No weight loss to report this morning, im the same (well up .6:rolleyes:) from last week but the good news is im down 1/2 inch in my hips...I'll take it:D maybe next week i will be down 2lbs;)

Allee-Sorry your workout got cut short, i know its frustrating, but good job on it!

Heidi-WTG on your workout. I've thought about getting back into running...last week i was able to run for 35mins straight before passing out on the floor (lol) that brings me hope that i can complete a 5k, maybe i will go look for one.

hi everyone,
i've been reading/posting alot in these forums. i'm sure you've all read some of my posts. i think i'll start checking in to get more accountability. amelia says it really helps, because when we say oh i did this dvd, cathletes understand how hard it was. i really look forward to reading these forums everyday. so maybe the checking in could help me too.
well i need to do some house cleaning, and bbl to give some info about where i am on my journey.
 
ok me and the kids did some straightening up, it looks little better and most of the dishes. with 3 kids and my procrastination keeping the house looking livable is a continuous battle.
eminem's new son is playing on the radio. its how i feel today. determined to stop letting myself getting in my way.
about my wt loss journey.
my lowest wt at this height was freshman year hs, 140. that was with track practice, although i'm no sprinter. i dont expect to ever be that low again, plus my body has changed, my hips are wider so on. anyway, since having kids i've spent most of the last 10 years around 200. last about 5 years i maintained about 215. these are general trends. sometimes i lost or gained but thats the general idea. last fall/winter i gained another 15. so 230 was my highest ever. i'm 5'4 so that puts me in maybe a 22. not sure.
so march 2010 my family went to a casual kids birthday party. i had to wear this dressy outfit, because nothing casual fit. so that was really embarrassing, and my dh got wii and wii fit plus for me. and really tried to help me jump start and keep it off. with emphasis on sweating.
by june i had lost 30 lbs. over the summer i was staying around 200 still. end of july i found cathe's website in an effort to kick this wall. find friends and advice so i can get under 200 and keep it off. i also found some wt loss blogs i follow now and of course the cathe forums.
i think maybe i was expecting too much to lose wt over the summer. with the kids home and i'm home 24/7 its sometimes more stressful than i think. now they've started school and i have plenty of time to exercise without interuption. so i'm recommiting to this.
also, on the weekends dh is working, so i'm in charge of the kids, although if i needed to call their dad, i can. my reaction is to be a grumpy lump on the couch watching tv with a never ending appetite. so i'm trying to limit that. and instead do healthy habits like stepping while watching a tv show, and eating when my stomach is growling.
my eating
i'm not trying to be on a certain diet. try to limit the fat. i drink skim milk, eat less cheese, and watch the labels more carefully. i need fiber in every meal and i can eat more fiber than the average person. waiting hours between meals helps shrink my stomach and make me listen to my stomach instead of my brain. my brain always thinks i'm hungry. i dont do that all the time, but when i'm successful thats what i did. trying to get protein too i'm often more concerned about the carbs of the meal. we dont eat beef. we eat alot of chicken. some fish, turkey sausage etc. i like beans. i eat them more often than the family. they arent real big fans.
my kids. 2 boys a few days from 7 and 9. daughter is 5 1/2 going on 16 lol. she just started kindergarten. dh works in computers. he's in great shape. enjoys exercising and hes a great dad.
in getting to know me or anytime feel free to ask me questions or engage in a debate haha. i enjoy those sometimes.
any fans of next food network star? i'll watch almost any show on that channel. arti-the one with the flower in her hair won the new show. its on tonight. american food with an indian twist. yummy. she also had a webshow on u tube if you are interested. i could eat curry at every meal lol. my family got tired of chicken curry.
well i need to w/o before that show comes on. bbl
 
Hi everyone!

I know I've been MIA lately. The 12 hour work days are wearing me down. I'm on the go constantly. Was in again yesterday. The project will subside for a few weeks now, I think/hope. Today we've been painting DS's room - finally. Getting on 2 coats and all the trim done in one days has been quite the challenge. Still dinner and grocery shopping. Then, a walk with the dog if I don't collapse first.

Belinda - Are those new antibiotics helping at all yet? I can't believe how long this has been going on, though you're living. I pray this round of anitibiotics does the trick.

Heidi - I'm sure your sister will heal very well out of the hospital. The change in place will certainly do her the most good.

Amelia - Losing inches are better than pounds! Way to go. Great workout, btw.

Heidi - thanks! I am taking the same antibiotics, just taking it a little longer. WTG, on iTread 18 today. I am so sorry, you are going through all this, my heart goes out to you and your family. (((HUGS))))

Allee - thanks, for asking. I still feel the same. The meds haven't kicked in. I have 4 more days of antibiotics left (I am alread taking it for the last 14 days plus the next 4 antibiotics makes it a total of 17 days) it's frustrating! Nice job, on BS today.

Amelia - nice job, on your TB wo today. Love that workout!

MOM418 - Hi and welcome. You are in the right place. Are you doing a rotation?

Sherry - thanks, girl! I hope so too. I am almost out of antibiotics, still don't feel any better. I think, once I am done with this round of antibiotics. I have to go back to the hospital..... but first I will finish M3, lol! Have fun painting, lol!

i'm not in a rotation. for a long time i was mostly doing cardio. stationary bike, running in place. alot of lower body exercises w/o weights. i'm still figuring out how i would set up a rotation with routines i make up. also have a big punching bag used a few times. a variety of dumbells/plates. sometimes fit tv has w/o i like. some of cathe's a few of all star workouts. i mostly care about the lower half. and as i go i'm losing fat all over so thats good. still learning to get comfortable using free wts. in the gym i was usually on the machines. but you guys and cathe are inspiring that i can do free weights too. gradually i'll get stronger.
earlier i think a moderator disabled my account? i would l0g in and go to click on a page, then be logged out. i dont get what i did wrong. i made some comments on the thread about not getting results.
is there somewhere in the rules how long the account is down? i guess depends on mod?
