Disposing of picture frames

I have several old collage frames from when I was younger that I want to discard. I am keeping the pictures inside but I don't need the frames anymore. How do I discard these? Do I put them in the garbage whole or do I somehow break the glass first (and if so, how?)?

Just put them in whole otherwise, someone might get a nasty cut.

If they're in good shape you might want to consider donating them to Goodwill or Salvation Army.

i third donating. i usually stop at thrift stores often and always find something like this for way cheaper then at wal-mart.plus goodwill and salvation army profits go to good causes.

Or at least drop the glass part off at a glass recycling facility.

I third the donation thing, but if you can't do it your town should have what they call "dump day" or something like that when you can put out larger, unrecyclable objects.

i would also donate them, but if you don't want to , then just put them in a garbage sack and trash them. that way if they break teh glass will be contained
