DILEMMA: really need an answer

Hi, I posted on the Ask Cathe board and got 2 really good answers to my question, now I need to know which to do?
My original question was: I weight train mon, wed, fri and I do cardio only on tue, thur. Can I do a cardio like The Firm crosstrainer (cardio & light weights) on my cardio days or will that be an overload? The debate in my head is: the weights are so light (5-8lbs) on the Firm video it couldn't possibly make a difference to my muscle recovery from the previous days weight training? OR CAN IT? Does anyone have an answer? I'd really appreciate the input. Thanks, Anne
 
I usually do The Firm "Tough Cardio" which uses light weights also on my cardio days, it's never affected my weight training, but if I start feeling worn or tired in the middle of the video, I just drop down to 3 lb. weights; my wieght training stays the same. And actually, I get more tired when I do stricktly Cathe (with no weights) on my cardio days than I do doing The Firm. Just listen to your body. : )
